Hello, I am on day 7 of P2 and this is my second round. What I want to know is... can I split my meat up throughout the day. I typically eat a lot of protein throughout the day (snack on almonds, ect.) and I usually graze throughout the day also. I'm having a hard time eating my meat all at once in 2 meals. So can I split my 100grams of meat up and eat a couple bites every hour? Also what is the opinion on grapes? And what is the portion for grapes, strawberries and grapefruit? Thanks so much-
Grapes are not on the protocol. They are very high in sugar. The serving size for a grapefruit is 1/2. A handful of strawberries can be interpreted differently by different people. I usually think of it as about 6, but it really depends on the size. If the strawberry count were critical, the protocol would say something specific.
I don't see anything wrong with spreading out meals. There are cautions about putting items together, or doubling up things, but I don't remember reading anything about spreading them apart.
yes, you are allowed to split up the food anyway you'd like- as long as you don't eat 2 servings of something at the same time. we frequently recommend this to people who have issues with low blood sugar.
