to have re-set my weight?? This is my second round and on my first round(23 day) I felt like my weight had totally re-set even when on P4(adding back in S&S)indulging occasionally on more s&s than was necessary(holidays). On my first round I never went over my LIW and didn't have to do a steak day. I have done a second round it was for 30 days and I am now on P4 again second week of slowly adding back in s&s yet I have been very careful even more so than the first round and my weight fluctuates very easily with any s&s I have already had to do 3 steak days!! My question is I am happy at this weight, though I could lose 10 more lbs(but no more) at this point in P4 do you think my weight will re-set or should I do another 23 day round and try again? All help is greatly appreciated!!!

If you feel like you need to lose more weight and the steak days aren't bringing you down to your LIW then I would say to hold out and do one more short round. Even if you lose a little more than 10# on the next round, if your body doesn't have the abnormal fat it will start to get hungry and you can up your calories to 800-1000 and just finish out the injections to 23 days. IF you are happy and have no true desire to reach another 10# then I would say stop. Your weight really should stay at 2# below or above LIW if you are stabilized.

the closer you are to your goal weight, the more difficult it is to add back sugar/starch without gaining. i think for many of us it is going to be something we have to watch closely forever. you also might be stabilizing a little higher- sometimes it doesn't happen within 2# of your liw, and you have to accept it.

I could lose 10# if I need to, but I am happy with this weight and feel healthy. Steak days definitely do bring me back and below my LIW, my worry is that I have not re-set my hypo because I cant even take a bite of bread without going back over. How do I know if I am stabilizing a little higher(which I am fine with) do I stop doing steak days to find out?

I have wondered this same thing. My first round I stabilized very firmly at a pound below LIW. I could eat bread and chocolate without any gains at all. My second round was harder. I was able to keep my weight mostly under control, but only by eating mostly P3 foods. That worried me. I wonder if I have food sensitivities. I'm still about 30 lbs from what I would call my ideal weight, although I'm not unhappy with my current weight. I would hate to think I need to stay 60lbs overweight just to keep some stability.

My 1st round stablized at 2 to 3 lbs above LIW. This round it appears to be 5 lbs I am now 150 lbs have lost 65 lbs duirng both rounds. Stablized at 60 lb loss. Trying to concentrate on that since I am going to do another round. My next round, I am also going to try just eating same phase 2 foods just more of them in phase 3. My goal weight is 135 lbs at 5' 3.
