So I just wanted to share: I have this jean jacket, a small, that I used to wear all the time. One night I had a whole outfit that hinged on wearing the jacket...and I couldn't zip it up! At dinner with my family I burst into tears. I thrust it into my closet and didn't look at it, ashamed of myself.

Recently, I've been wearing it and it fits BETTER than before! So now my family calls it my "crying jacket". Lol. That was one of my weight loss landmarks.

The next one I want to reach is where my thighs don't rub together anymore. I REALLY hate that, but it's going to take some work since I ruined my body with cellulite and stretch marks from excessive weight gain.

What are your weight loss landmarks?

My landmark was to get below 200 lbs! I did that 2 days ago. I haven't seen that number for 25 years. My next one is to loose 100 lbs. I am now at 80 and only 20 lbs left to go.

@ psjack - WOW! What round are you on? I'm on my second bottle of Releana and am close to half of the total amount of weight I want to lose. I'm going to stick on it until I get there, damn-it! That's truly amazing, though - good luck with the last 20!

@ yizquierdo - If you don't reach your size 6 goal (I'm rooting for you though!) I'd look at stopping at a reasonable dress size 10-12, maybe? and then TONING. Firm, toned bodies, even if they are a little thicker, are infinitely more appealing than a flabbier, possibly slightly thinner body. I'm sure you'll do FABULOUS, though. :)

Near where I live is a theme park called Silver Dollar City. Last year, I got on the "Dumbo" knock-off ride with my neice and the seatbelt didn't fit around me. I was humiliated as we were forced to leave the ride and the 4 year old didn't understand why. It was so emabarrasing to walk past all the onlookers who saw it happen. We are going next week when it opens, and I am going straight to that damn elephant ride just because I can! I went from 230 pounds to 184 (currently :) I might even be in the 170's by then!!! So I KNOW I can buckle it this time. Man, will that feel GOOD!!

yizquierdo - I have gone from a tight size 20 to a loose 14 since December 26. So it IS possible to drop a lot of sizes. Everybody's different, and I did take 3 week break into phase 3. I lost more sizes then even though my weight stayed the same. Good luck, but just be happy with where you end up!

Being this is only my second day on VLCD, my first landmark is to get below 300 pounds. Then the next landmark is 250, then 200, then I don't know what. I am 36 and have been over 200 pounds since middle school (12 years old???). I am so excited and motivated from reading all your posts!!! you are all an inspiration!

Not sure if this was intended for upcoming landmarks, but it felt good to write it out!
