My budget is pretty tight right now with a new business ect.. going on . husband has been out of work ect... just can't keep buying HCG. gosh i sure feel bad about this . I was so excited by what my friend did and i think she just forgot to tell me this part ? sorry to be long winded and dense thanks for any help sue
Once you finish your hCG-minimum of 21 days-you go through phase 3 which is just a maintenance faze where you keep starches and sugars out of your diet and introduce more proteins and calories. Phase 4 is just the long term of watching your weight.
Have you read Inches and Pounds-it will let you know everything you need to know.
You really do need to do all the phases. P2 is 23 injections minimum with 72 hours of no injections and the vlcd. Then if this is your first round; 3 weeks of P3 then 3 weeks of P4.
I can't encourage you strongly enough to do the other phases. Seriously this protocol is amazing. I never go down a size until P3. There are so many benefits. Somehow after losing 60 lbs I don't have the saggy skin I ould have expected, during P3 in particular you shape and tone. Besides that you will learn what foods you tolerate and what foods cause you to gain in both P3 and P4.
Besides all the good stuff you will miss the bad thing is that if you don't stabilize properly you may gain back the weight. It's just not worth it.
ok good to know do i still do the injections , i assume in p3 i m on day vlcd day 10 so i m in P2 ? 3 day gorge started on march 8 , then vlcd with injections i guess i m just confused on the Phases ? sorry im slow but i will catch on soon enough . LOL i just am worried that our budget just won't allow for more hcg and kits . thanks very much best sue
No you only take injections while on p2, the actual diet. You continue the diet for 72 hours after you stop the hcg. Then for the next three weeks you eat anything you like except starch or sugar. You need to make sure you eat enough too. At least double your protein, eat good fats like nuts and avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, fattier meats. Then after that you start adding back in starches and sugar, always watching your weight in both of those last two phases. Anytime you go over 2 pounds above your weight the last day you took hcg, you do a steak day. It's all in Pounds and Inches.
Phase 1 is the two days of gorging, then P2 is the 21 days of VLC, the p3 is three weeks of no sugar, no starch but eating again with high protein and good fats and then p4 is slowly re-introducing sugar and starch into your diet. Use the scale EVERY day as your guide as to what you will tolerate and what you will not. hope that helps a little
taynors, this might be an old thread but one thing I didn't see mentioned, and if you haven't read p&i you definitely need to hear this. If you go back to eating starches and sugars without giving your bodya at least 72 hours to flush the hcg, you will gain at an astronomical rate. So take Colleens advice, spend three days after your last dose of hcg and stick with the low cal diet, then start adding back fats and proteins for the next 3 weeks. You've lost this weight and want to keep it off for good and this part is essential to that. After those 3 weeks I suppose you can start reintroducing carbs and sugars but I'd make sure if you're going to have pizza or candy that you still weigh yourself daily. You want to make sure you can immediately correct your weight if you go above 2 pounds or more from your goal weight. I think it's something we have all had to learn to accept that we will weigh daily the rest of our lives.
