I'm P2VCLD 13 and the past few days I've almost had to force feed - don't get me wrong, better than starving - but I don't think I'm eating enough, and like an idiot I cooked my chicken before I weighed it! Does anyone know how much cooked protein we should have? Thanks -

Good point - eventually there WILL be precooked food in our lives. I just have to stand in the kitchen and force the food in and it is almost gagging me. When I started I could NOT believe I wouldn't be hungry but here we are.

    Ruby,
I did the 100g raw, and 3 oz after its cooked. I weighed before and after several times before I figured this out. 100g = apprx 3.5 oz. If it's done its done, you can't go back. In fact, why I wanted this was so I could make my own broth. I bot a bag of the frozen chicken breasts, dumped them in the crock pot, filled it with water and spices, cooked it at least over night, 2nd batch I did had legs, thighs and breasts with the bones and I cooked it longer, it didn't bother me, but I was towards the end of P2, dark meat is not on protocol. Took the chicken out, weighed out my 3 oz, baggied it and froze it. Let the broth cool, skimmed the fat really good, put it in a pitcher in the fridge and used it to cook with or to just have a cup of broth with my chicken salad. You know for sure it has no sugar's this way, besides it had much better flavor than the store bot. I don't know what Colleen and Linda would say about this, they are the pro's, but I checked it several times before I did this on the weight.

If you are having a problem eating, check with Linda and Colleen, but reading through this stuff, your dose may be wrong.

If you aren't calorie counting, I found it easier to calorie count everything I ate so if I went over, or was under to much I knew it, and maybe could adjust my evening meal for it. Calorie King has one, I use Spark People.

That's the beauty of the hcg when your dose is right. Not only are you not hungry on 500 calories but sometimes you have to force yourself to eat!

Yep, 3.5oz raw and 3oz cooked.

Thanks - I really hate handling the raw chicken on the scale, I feel like bacteria is crawling all over me LOL - so the no appetite deal is OK then?
