I am looking for a P3 group as well. We started a thread way back in February for P2 but some of them are still on it. I am on my second day of P3 and unlike everyone else I am EXCITED ABOUT IT. I can eat what I want except sugars and bread. I even cheat with some ranch dressing yesterday (at least I felt as if I were cheating)

Its hard finding me some good hot wings though that don't have sugar in the sauce...its usually the very HOT ones that don't add sugar!!! that would burn my lips off but I may try it.

Last night I DID find it hard to eat a lot because I normally eat like clockwork at 6pm so I don't eat late and I didn't realize until AFTER seven I hadn't eaten AND I wasn't hungry. I ate "just because" I know we need the protein. Sure feels to go out to eat and eat an 8oz piece of chicken and have salad with cheese.

I am going to remember I need to get up and cook me some bacon and eggs too. I normally skip breakfast as I've never been a breakfast eater, I only cook for the kids...guess I better start eating too.

mpruitte, I'd say that's okay. There are no carbs and no sugar.

fonda, my favorite dressing mix was a no-go because one of the ingredients was sugar. I'm afraid the ranch mix might be the same. You'll have to read the ingredients.

I used to think I was a great label reader, but I was not reading them correctly. I used to ignore "sugar" in the ingredients. I'd always leave the product behind if it had HFCS. But I was really more aware of the fat and fiber content. It's strange to be reading labels for completely different things now.

the Ranch packet is Hidden Valley ( I dont have another or I would list the ingredients for you) but it had NO sugars at all, so mix it with the mayo, cr cheese, lemon juice and 1/2 & 1/2 until you get the consistency you want

oops sorry!!! I used 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese, 4 TBS mayo (full fat btw), 1TB lemon juice and then just eyeballed (sp?) the 1/2 and 1/2 (again full fat version) mine is more of a dip its pretty thick so just whatever consistency you want, but it is way tasty! enjoy!
    Thankful People: fonda
