A friend of mine and I were invited to a Seder since we are going through a Religious Ed course through our church. We agreed to go but I wasnt too sure what it was. I then found out its the Passover Feast and they are going to be serving lamb, chicken (usually thigh or legs and not grilled or boiled), grape juice and veggies. I thought about eating just the veggies, but it might have dressing already! I really don't want to back out since is a huge honor to be invited in the first place. What should I do??
I will be half way through my 6 week program when this happens.
I have been to way to many events and pot lucks since starting this protocol to remember and have never cheated. I would have a real problem not eating at a Seder though. If you go, and you have to go, it is just sooooo cool, you have to eat but I would eat as little as possible, that wouldn't be good though. Just take small portions and trust God to cover you.
I was thinking of skipping lunch to make up for whatever extra calories I might take in...It will be by the grace of God if I don't gain. Thank you all I will take all your suggestions with me.
