Wow! Have the laxatives worked yet?

I don't recall recommending an egg day, I don't think I've ever suggested that to anyone. On the bloating, the constipation could be a big part of that and eggs can be very gassy too. I wouldn't settle on an egg sensitivity at this point.

I really think your biggest problem is the constipation and it may take a day or two to get yourself settled from that. I really hate to see you doing steak days and egg days with your current problem because you need at least some veggies.

How late in the day is it for you?

Maybe it was someone else telling me to do an egg day. Sorry. Anyway I am doing an egg day today. It is almost 4 here. I think I might be starting to get the plumbing going plus someone suggested a fleet enima so I am going to try that.
Thanks for responding. Is this going to really affect may ability to stabilaize and can I still get back down to my LIW. also I have not been eating as much yesterday or today. Is that going to mess me up?

It was grammy who suggested it.
    Thanks.

I really do think that the plumbing is the problem. I also think you need to get back to eating and add either fiber or a fiber drink to your diet. You might try the calm magnesium and have some every evening in a cup of hot tea. If you have to go to the drug store and get the sugar free metamucil then do it and start on it tomorrow morning so that you keep things moving.

While all of these laxatives will get things moving they may bloat you a bit so don't worry if you don't feel real great for a day or two.

I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble.

I want to share my experience. I don't know if it will work for anyone else but this is what worked for me. I had major constipation issues for most of my p3, my system just didn't want to process food. My bowels were sluggish for about 10 days and then no movement for 5-6 days. REALLY uncomfortable and my weight just kept going up even though I wasn't eating anything that I shouldn't--the waste was just accumulating in my colon. Here's what I did--I got some psyllium husk powder and aloe vera juice and mixed 1 tbs of psyllium and 1/2 c. aloe vera juice 3 times a day with some water to get it so I could drink it. In between the 3 x a day on the psyllium, I mixed together 2 tbs of ground flax seed and greek yogurt (however much you want to make a good consistency) with active cultures 3 times a day and drank a gallon and a half of water. I wasn't hungry because my system was so full of waste but if I was hungry I had an egg or protein drink, a handful of nuts, but not much. It took a couple of days of this and then it all let loose and I lost 3.4 pounds and it put me below my LIW where I have stayed and stabilized just fine. The good thing about this way of doing it was that it wasn't a huge blowout that left me feeling sick. It was pretty gentle but VERY effective. So, don't lose hope but do get things moving and you'll feel so much better! Good Luck!

I'm beginning to wonder if this is my main problem too. I'm never hungry when I should be and sometimes go 6 hours between meals, even then I'm forcing myself to eat because I'm just not hungry. Smooth Move helps about once a week, but I feel like I get backed up really quickly again. I have a quite a bit of stomach discomfort and a lot of bloating, but I just assumed it was because something I'm eating isn't really agreeing with me. I'll have to try your concoctions and see if it helps.

    Thank you!

Thank eveyone so much. I got a fleet enema and got things moving. I am going to try aloe vera thing kempnco2. Your story sounds very similar to mine. I hope tomorrow I see some sort of real drop on the scale. I am going to finish my egg day but am not very hungry. I have had 6 eggs. Is that enough I would rather just pass on eating since every time I eat I bloat and hurt and it has been like this since Sunday. I have just worried that I wouldn't get enough calories. I know I didn't yesterday.
Imlovelove, I have felt like that most of P3. I eat because I have to not because I want too. I am one who has always loved to eat but not now. In fact the two steak days I have had I was glad because I didn't have to eat. I feel the same about the eggs today. It has became drudgery. Even drinking water which I drink over a gallon a day makes me feel bloated.
Hopefully after today things will be looking up.
Once again thank you everyone for your help!!

I just wanted to thank everyone. After my plumbing has cleared out I'm down 3.5# and back at my LIW. So maybe all my gaining was plumbing and not sensitivities. I feel SOOO MUCH better!! Today is day 16 of P3, should I add time at the end since I lost 4 days over LIW eventhough it was bathroom related. I wqs rock solid at my LIW until Sun and that is when I started backing up.
    Thanks again.
