    I am having a little bit of a scare right now, and its right when I'm about to start my hcg shots on Thursday! Is there any other test, blood test to do while on the hcg? Or is hcg the only thing that they can test for....

    What does the blood test look for? I would think it looks for the same hormone... If I am on the hcg, how will they know the difference?

    the amount of hcg in your blood while on the shots is not a signigicant amount....ie not "preggers" amounts of hcg...however the amount of hcg in your blood in the very early stages of pregnancy is not that high either. I guess if you are afraid you might be expecting, I would put off starting the shots for 7 to 10 days so you can get an accurate test. Its better to be safe than worry about it. It's only a few days. :))
