I have a question about taking breaks between rounds...
When you start again after a break do you have to do the fat loading days again? It seems that it would be counterproductive to gain again before losing... Is it necessary to do this?

Yes you have to load again with every round. I hate it too but it's necessary.

It's frustrating, I agree. But, if you load with fats and protein instead of fats and carbs, you shouldn't gain as much on the loading days.

    ccello,
Are you talking about a a planned interruption, or the 6 weeks between rounds?

If it's a planned interruption, it depends on how long it is as to whether or not to load.

The 6 weeks between rounds. Is it really necessary to wait a whole 6 weeks? Does anyone do it in less time. I have 106 lbs left to lose. That seems like it will take forever!

It won't take forever. If you show patience and perseverence, that 106 lbs will be gone before you know it. :]

wannabthin-it really would not be a good idea at all to stay on the vlcd after the 72 hours. With the hcg you are getting an adequate amount of nutrution but as soon as the hcg is out of your system you really need to go to P3. If you don't your body will freak out. If you lose, it will no doubt be muscle which is not a good thing at all. Seriously, not a good idea. You could really screw up your loses.

The thing to do is do your 72 hours without the hcg then go to P3, follow all the instructions for that phase as if you are going to go from here to P4. When your hcg arrives you can start the injections and finish up your 40 day round and you won't damage yourself at all. Dr. S says that all you have lost is time.
