I am so sad about this. It's on the protocal for occasional use.
I forgot to thaw my fish and ended up just doing the 2 egg whites 1 yolk and gained 1.4 pounds.
    So discouraging. :(

I do the omelet and gain from it...but I usually lose it the next morning.

MANY people are allergic to eggs and don't know it. It will cause you to gain when you eat it and can be at the base of your weight problem. :-(

I'm assuming you're in P2? I didn't attempt to eat eggs in P2 (unless you count the Jay Robb egg white shakes I had a couple of times because I was out of town for the day), but I know how discouraging it can be when your body doesn't like something that you're told you can have, even if only occasionally. I stalled anytime I ate oranges or tomatoes--orange being my favorite glaze for chicken and tomatoes being my favorite vegetable period. Assuming your gain was in fact due to the eggs, you just have to suck it up and move on, making a note to not make the same mistake twice.

Hmm... I wonder if it's the tomatoes too. I had eggs. Deviled eggs with only one tablespoon or plain fat free yogurt (Is that a problem? I thought that was in the protocal) And mustard with one sliced up tomato with basil.
Could of been both maybe... this sucks.
    Thanks for your thoughts!
    And yes I'm in p2

No yogurt in the protocol. You're allowed 1T of milk a day.

Uh oh.. I guess i figured that it could be considered the same since it's the dairy category? Oops.

Check the ingredients in your mustard (if it's not homemade) and I'd stay away from the plain yogurt, even if it is fat free. Because it's made from milk, it has naturally occurring sugars and that is not conducive to the aim of P2. It could have been a combination of the mustard, the eggs, and the fat free yogurt, so I'd knock out all three and see how you fare from here on out.

The mustard apple cider vinegar, mustard seed, salt, and spices. It's amazing how many mustards have sugar in them! Took me 20 minutes to pick one out.

I know, right? I wasn't able to find sugar-free mustard until I visited a Trader Joe's for the first time. Love that store!
