Hi, ( I posted this earlier today,but didn't get any response, so I'll try again)
I am taking the H hcg and am on p2 day9. I haven't lost anything in the last three days. As far as I know, I've stuck to protocol. My first few days I dropped what I gained during the load days, then from there 3# then 1# but then nothing. I have been drinking a lot of tea and water. And I even upped my drops from 10 to 15 3X a day. Also I am hungry.. a lot! Mornings and late evenings aren't so bad, but the time between lunch and dinner is reallly tough. My stomach is growling and everything so I know it's not just cravings (which those are almost constant). I try to eat my melba toast then but it doesn't really help. Do I need to do an apple day? When I upped my drops it seems to help the hunger. Should I up my drops again to 20 3X a day? Should I switch to the sublingual? If so how do I do that? It seems like there is a lot of math involved. I am only 5' 1 and stated out at 161lbs. It's not like I only need to loose a little. What's my body have against being lighter? I'm trying to stay positive. I'm just getting really depressed and in need of some guidance. I've been on this board almost all week. ( I joke to my DH that I am cheating on him with a message board). I'm cranky and see food everywhere. I'm like an addict going through withdraw. All I can think about is when I'm going to get my next fix. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks
Susie, I am by no means an expert on this, I am only on R1VLCD7. I am also doing HHCG, I think losses are a little slower on HHCG. I am doing 10 drops 3 times per day. I did see on some other threads where some HHCG users are doing it 6 times a day and that has helped with their hunger. Don't know if that would work for you or not. Before I got started they warned me on here that I might have to increase the drops and that was normal. Maybe you need to spread yours out to 6 times and increase a little more. My losses are not any more than yours. I gained 3.4 during load and am now at about 8.5 lbs, but today I had a .2 gain.
Dont give up, I would reach to Colleen, Granny1952 or one of the other guys on here that seem to be experts and get their feedback. Hope that it gets better!
thanks! :D That's sort of interesting that you had a gain of .2 today. Yesterday I had that too... Exactly .2 (I'm only on day 9) I wonder if that is just how things work with the HHCG? I wonder if anyone else had that happen to them? Maybe I'll hop on the hhcg forum that's on this site and ask.
You shouldn't be hungry! Up your drops to 18 3x a day and see how you do. If still hungry, up to 20. Stalls are common. Apple days are pretty useless as far as I'm concerned. I see too many people do them and drop then gain back part of it. It's just water weight anyway. But the hunger is the main thing to fix.
( I just wrote a nice big paragraph and then my kid hit a button and I lost it all, so I'll sum up) Yeah! I just lost 2# this morning!!! I thought I was going to go insane! Thanks for all your suggestions. I will try them all, I'm going to try to break them up a little it through out the day and increase until I find my happy place. Maybe do 15-18 in the morning (depending on when I get up) then after lunch and dinner do 8 drops and then 15-18 again in the late evening. (does that make sense?) Congrats on the 2 lbs, Susie...I dropped 1.6, so that puts total loss at 10.2 (Yeah, over 10!)
I hope that spreading the drops out and increasing will help. My hunger is pretty much in control, so there is hope that you can get yours there too! Are you doing the 23 or 46 day round? I am still debating, it sounds like with hhcg you can stop in between if you need to or reach your goal, so I may wimp out and do that.
