    Hey all,
    Ive got the best chicken recipe ever. If your ok to mix veggies, than its delish. I could eat this everyday. Its actually a recipe I had before starting the diet, but make a few adjustments. As with many people, I dont measure but I will do the best I can to describe. I usually make about 3-4 portions at a time.

    Spanish Chicken
    3-4 portions of chicken
    fresh chopped ciliantro
    1 can organic tomato paste
    Garlic Power(and/or 1-2 fresh cloves)
    Adobo seasoning (its an all purpose seasoning, made by GOYA, usually found in the hispanic food section)
    Red onion ( about 1/4-1/2 of a med size onion)I usually use about 1/2
    Celery( about 1-2, I would usually use green peppers, but since they arent in the protocol, its your choice, but it tastes great with either)
    S&P

    -Season chicken with salt,pepper,garlic powder and adobo
    -sautee onions and celery in waterand garlic if wanted( i usually use a bit of non stick spray, spray then wipe-just helps with sicking)
    -(add water throughout recipe as needed in small amounts)
    -add 1 can tomato paste, a few shakes of adobo,garlic powder, and pepper and cilantro( about 2 TBS)
    -Mix well- add water
    -place chicken on top of sauce
    -Cover and cook till done about 15-20 mins(turning over halfway thru)you may add more cilantro depending on taste
    -Keep adding water as needed to keep sauce from over cooking
    - Top with fresh cilantro
    Mangia!

    Sometime s i do just have a lettuce salad with it, but again thats up to you, because there is veggies in the sauce.

    aRE YOU SURE THIS AVERAGES OUT TO ONLY 500 CALORIES? It sounds yummy! I love cilantro and adobo seasoning. I just assumed it had some sugar in it since it is so good! Thanks...I will give it a try!

    I think this recipe is for 3 or 4 meals, not one. She says "3-4 portions of chicken".

    The adobo seasoning doesnt have sugar. (at least mine doesn't). You can also mix your own if you cant find it. I dont know off the top of my head, but im sure you could google it. And yes, if your ok to mix veggies, than this is the absolute best. I have eaten it every day this week!! I miss my cheddar cheese on top, but soon enough, soon enough! P2VLCD23, Down 15lbs!
