    Good Morning,
    Today is day 10 of P3 for me. I am at my LIW.
    I have been at or 1# below LIW with exception of 2 days, this Monday day 5, I was .5 above and Tuesday, day6, I was 2.5 above. Last weekend discovered almond flour and probably went overboard. I had a steak day Tues. and lost 2.5 and have been at LIW since. I started adding things back slowly, have added eggs and moz ch. Yesterday I had about 8 almonds. This morning I was still at LIW. I added back parmesan this morning. Do you think it would be to soon to try a mugg cake tonight if I split it with my family or should I wait? I just love the almond flour and order 25# and it came in yesterday so needless to say I am chomping at the bit. I will not do what I did last weekend. I can wait since I expereinced the stress of being over LIW and would rather not do that again.

    Thanks again grammy and lindalou for the advice on the steak day. It worked and I have been eating a ton of protein and the scale has not budged. I just can't believe the amount of meat I am eating and not gaining.

    You may just have added it in too soon. If you did okay with the almonds, it might be fine this time. Do you do the one I adapted? It's a much better size:

    Mug Cake (I eat this every day!)
    2 Tlbs. Almond flour
    1 1/2 T xylitol
    1 Tlbs. cocoa powder, heaping
    1 egg
    3 Tlbs. half and half or cream
    1 Tlbs. butter or coconut oil
    Splash of Vanilla extract
    1 large coffee mug

    Mix all dry ingredients in mug, add egg and blend thoroughly. Add milk, oil and vanilla and mix. Place in 1000 watt microwave for 90 sec. Do not cover mug. Cake will rise. Let cool and place on plate. Add a little whipped cream to top

    Yes that is the one I did Mon night. I only took a bite but my daughter, husband, and mother loved it. I thought maybe I would make one and split it so I wouldn't eat to much.

    p3d3...tried the mug cake with stevia....it was great but I need to figure out the right amount of stevia to put in. I shared it with my wife and kids and they thought it was great!

    Can't help you on the stevia dose. I don't much care for stevia so I always use xylitol in P3. Some have used splenda in it too.

    I could never share my mug cake. My dog wanted it so bad. Since it was chocolate he didn't even get a taste but he was begging. I so enjoyed it on P3 with homemade whipping cream on top.

    After you've tried almonds a few days and can make sure they are safe for you. And eggs.
