I'm starting P3 tomorrow and don't want to lose my weight loss momentum...plus I feel like getting back to tennis a few times a week and starting to workout.
Here's my situation. Male 45, 6'1". I did 23 injections and lost 28 lbs. (Wish I would have been skipping a day so I could have done a 40 day and maybe hit 34lb loss but I didn't read up enough in advance).
Anyway, I didn't cheat a bit so I guess that's about as well as I could have done using a short first cycle. If I could lose another 20 I would be back to my absolute ideal\college days weight. I don't really feel like stalling for 6 weeks while in P3\waiting to recycle to do another round because I think in that amount of time I could lose the 20 and be done. (thinking about P90X program).
Reading Dr S's material it looks like continued weight loss after P2 is not allowed but I'm wondering if anyone has had a positive long term experience doing what I am wanting to do. Advice?
I don't think it's absolutely necessary to skip a day in order to do a 40 day round, ESPECIALLY if you're only doing one round. You may want to consider extending this round if you have enough. If you don't get to your goal weight, you'll be close enough to not warrant another round, you can lose it with diet/exercise. Don't put yourself through another round while you are so close to your goal! Keep the momentum going!
You should NOT try to lose weight during P3. Dr. s. is quite specific on this. You need to stay within 2 lbs of your liw.
With that said, have you had any immunity issues? i.e. hunger etc.? If not, you could skip a day, and then do 6 days of shots, skip a day etc. until you've done your 40 shots.
If you are going to do the P90X (we have that program) I would definitely wait a week or so on P3 before you start it. It is definitely a butt kicker.
I was going to do 30 days and have enough for HCG to go 40 days but I thought I might have been getting signs of immunity. Around day 20 my weight loss slowed from .8 -1 per day to .4 steady. Also, feeling quite abit more hungry. Usually do lunch at 11:30 and can't hold off for dinner til much past 5pm. Then it's a long wait til lunch the next day.
I got a 30 day perscription initially and after two weeks I read about how it can go bad. Same day I read that my daughter knocked it out of the fridge accidentally. Didn't break the bottle but I figured it didn't do it any good either so I had the Dr call in another RX. Got another 30 day supply and 30 more needles so I'm good to go for as long as max would allow to get my total loss to 34lbs (I would go farther if it was in protocol and just get the 48lbs total out of the way) "
not crazy with hunger put I think I'm noticing it more than a week ago. Kinda thought that, plus the slowing of the loss to .4 per day, may indicate immunity setting in.
