Several of my family members have been doing the hCG along with me, so we ordered 30 vials of Hucog 2000iu from ADC. I am doing R3, and hunger issues have been a problem. My stomach isn't always growling, but there is a very distracting feeling of discomfort that is associated with hunger. There is also an uncomfortable pain in my back that intesifies when I am hungry. I am always thinking about food and it's an exercise in willpower waiting for the next meal.
I recently mixed up a new vial, and for the duration of that vial my experience changed. I felt great, and hunger wasn't bothering me. The timing of my meals was less important because my hunger feelings were very miminal. It didn't matter if I ate the components of my meal all at once, or spread them out. I felt pretty satisfied. During that same time I had started drinking mineral water, so I thought that might be part of it.
Well, Sunday I mixed again, and since then my hunger has been returning. This is very discouraging. Each of the boxes of Hucog is labeled the same as the rest, so I'm not sure why one vial would be different. The boxes were shrink wrapped together in a group of 15. My dad is doing the diet and he often reports intense hunger problems. My two sisters don't have as much, but they do say they experience hunger. I really wish I could find the answer. Last week I was thinking how cool it was that I had three more weeks to lose a bunch of weight. This week I'm back to enduring the dull headaches and anxiousness about getting enough food. Luckily I have been able to sleep, but I get hungry in the morning. That is a big clue. Last week I wasn't hungry in the mornings. This week I am. I had similar feelings during R2, and I didn't stabilize nearly as well as I did during R1.
During the beginning of R1 I had hunger problems at the beginning. But, once I figured out a dose, I remember thinking that I could do the diet for as long as it would take. I sort of hit an equalibrium and the intense need for food wasn't there. My stabilization was awesome after that round. If the hCG is only partially working I wonder if I will have stability problems after this round. I don't want to gain this weight back.
Hucog seems to have as good a reputation as any brand out there, so I hesitate to think that the whole batch could be bad. But, the only time I have felt great during this round corresponds with a single vial of hCG. Before and after have been stress, pain, and lack of concentration in varying degrees. Skip days are especially tough. I am attending classes so I need to be able to think clearly. The discomfort of hunger makes me feel like I have ADD. I just hate sitting down to homework because I start thinking about the physical feelings of stress and hunger.
It's too bad it takes so long to order hCG. I would try ordering the new premixed type. Since that product is new, there might be a better chance that the potency is good. My hCG is always kept refrigerated, before and after mixing.
Anyway, I'm pretty upset today. After 10 days of feeling great, it's not fun to be enduring this.
Darn it Russ! I thought you had gotten over all these hunger issues. Is the rest of your family on the same dose as you are? You're doing 200iu IM right? It just doesn't make sense that you would have all bad hucog, no sense at all. Have you tried going up to 225iu?
Russ, As you know I have the new liquid. I mixed Sunday morning and that day and yesterday had annoying hunger and just didn't feel right. Well after some thought and research, I re-mixed this morning per your instructions and so far (knock on wood) doing great. I didn't even think about food/hunger and looked up and it was 12:30, so I forced myself to eat my lunch. I don't know if physcological or what, but doing good so far.
ADC has replaced any hcg that people said wasn't potent. Just to see what would happen, I'd try remixing, russ. If you're not hungry again, I'd let them know! Colleen
Can we test the potency of our hcg? I have read snippets about using a pregnancy test to do this, but no specific instructions or indications that you can actually do that.
I just came off a 14 day break, did not load. When I get home later this evening I am going to drag out my stash and look at all the lot numbers. But I remixed this morning, because I just didn't feel right and I had ANNOYING hunger. I feel good today, mentally and physically, no hunger. Now all of us know it could I just didn't give the other time enough, it could be it was a bad batch, it could be this, it could be that, it could be because I didn't break long enough. I also know I am to a point I have to really be careful and watch what is going on with me, because and I have said this many times, Immunity. Something that I watch for and have on each round. Remember I have been doing this since June, 2009, never a full P4, only P3s. But when I read this post I found it interesting and similar with this liquid. I also just want to keep you all informed as it could help someone else.
Okay, I just mixed a new vial and I'm starving as well. I was actually thinking about mixing again since I had extra. I've not experienced this since i first started. I actually did a load day today because I thought maybe that was it (I'm cycling and don't normally load).
Wondering if I should just remix.
I was just coming on to post this when I saw Russ's post.
I am just starting back from a 9 day break on Saturday and I have been a bit hungry. If I do this again I will load one day for sure.
How much time do you spend in P3 between rounds, how long are your rounds? I really don't know much about what cyclers do but I've wondered if in the long run it may cause problems. I also think it's very unhealthy to go without grains and stuff for a long time so P4 is important, at least I think it is.
