i know this has been addressed in other discussions but i kinda wanted to know what some of the experts ate their first couple days of p3 and how that worked for them....im a lil nervous....very excited to be able to eat real food...but afraid im gonna over do it....ive already had 2 eggs with cheese for breakfast and then some very lean beef(left over from p2) with some cheese and let and tom. and then a string cheese for a snack.. any advice? am i already in trouble? any what did you guys eat for snacks? i dont really like walnuts and i know other nuts arent really allowed....thanks everyone in advance...and how about that mug cake? ive been dying to try it but should i wait a few days before i do?? o i did see that some of you are eating fruit...what kind of fruit....i know the protocol says no apples(right?), i wish it didnt though, ive really come to loooove apples bcuz of p2(found some really great ones...fuji...yummy)anyways, what kinds are ok or have yall done ok with?

I don't consider myself an expert, just someone who's traveled down the road a few steps before you.

You really should add foods in slowly. You've mixed the cheese and eggs on your first day so if you have a large gain tomorrow you need to cut them out for a day or two then add only one for a few days then if you're okay add the other. There is nothing wrong with lean meat but I go for regular steaks with all the fat on them. Nuts are allowed but stay away from them for a week then add them slowly, one kind at a time.

You can eat some really good salads with dressing (no sugar), veggies as long as they aren't starchy like potatoes and corn, also might stay away from carrots at first. Fruit is allowed including apples. You might want to stay away from the really sweet fruits until P4.

You will probably gain back what you lost on the 72 hours without injections but that's to be expected which is why we go by our LIW. You only need to stay within 2lbs of your last injection weight so don't freak out if you get up tomorrrow with a gain. If you gain more than a couple of pounds it could be the eggs or cheese.

Fat is not your enemy so don't drink low fat milk, use real butter, good oils like coconut.

I'm tellin' ya once you know you can tolerate dairy....cream in the coffee, sour cream dip with pork rinds, sugar free bacon, well marbled steaks, salad with blue cheese dressing, scrambled eggs fried in real butter..... yum yum

The only time I gain in P3 or P4 is when I don't eat enough! How's that for a diet LOL

I don't eat alot of fruit but apples are for sure okay. To my knowledge pounds and inches addresses what foods you can eat in P3 or P4 except to say no sugars or starches in P3.

The information I'm giving you is from my experience and reading the experiences of others. The first week of P3 can be rocky for some people expecially on the first round so it's just best to make sure you get those proteins in, and stay away from higher carb things and things that are common allergens at first.

All Pounds and Inches says is to be cautious of very sweet fruits but apple isn't considered one of those. Banana, dates, figs, pineapple, those are sweeter. Welcome to P3 land! :-)
