Once we started HCG, we re-stocked everything: shampoo, facewash, soap, toothpaste, and deodorant. None of them specifically say they have oil in them, but there are a lot of big words. I don't know if there are any hidden oils. I am no longer using lotions or conditioner, but my hair was already dry and I have very sensitive skin (dermographism) that causes welting and bad itching. I was wondering if anyone knows of any moisturizers I can use that dont contain oil and if anyone has a list of all approved products?

Neutrogena, Clinique, Sephora, Alba, Zia and NA-PCA were given to me as ok to use.

So everybody gave up on conditioner during P2? Can not live without it! How did you deal with that, ladies?

    Lucy,
I have my problems with that too. In fact I just ignored that part of the diet. If that was wise, I do not know.
My thing is, I have super dry skin and hair. If I don't use my products I get sores and bleeding plaque. Everyhting else I followed successfully. Maybe the skin will reset to produce more of what it needs itself, if we don't put extra on it. But I am not brave enough to try. I also need some advice here.

I am only on day 6 of P2, and I also have not changed any of my hygiene products. I keep wondering if I should, but not sure I can afford to. I am also not quite convinced that this part is necessary. I would love to hear feedback though.

I am using my normal conditioner (which includes anything that is on sale at the moment). I have really long hair and there was no way I was going for 43 days w/o conditioner. I flip my hair over so it's not resting on my back when washing/conditioning/rinsing my hair and I try not to get too much on my scalp. The only issue I've had was when I used Organix coconut milk conditioner. will just have to save that, along with my B&BW exotic coconut body wash that I love for P3 :)

I have not stopped using conditioner, I just rinse right away and throughly, I do not use lotion I use mineral oil, That is my biggest problem my skin.. I use a bath brush on my dry skin before I shower To remove dead skin then I apply the mineral oil in the shower with the brush it helps alot. I do not use anything on my face although Neutragena has an oil free mosterizer.
