I started new birth control due to horrible pms and heavy bleeding on Feb 21st. I started hcg injections on Feb 28th and now I swear my body has gone completely wacky. WHile I am losing weight at a little less than a pound per day, I am plagued with my usual pms and started bleeding approx 5 days ago. After reading on here that many women are getting their TOM early, I am wondering if this is my actual period, or it is due to this new pill??? And, as long as I am continuing to lose weight should I just continue with my daily shot? I am only on the 23 day shot cycle... any feedback would be appreciated. My ACTUAL supposed period is not supposed to start until a week from today. Is anyone going through anything similar?

I did start early, too and I continued my shots. I'm on the pill but it's not a new pill for me or anything.

I too take birth control pills. I've been taking them as normal, not skipping any, taking it daily. Then added the Hcg injections. After about 3 days I got "break through bleeding" and eventually what seems to be a full blown period although I have never stopped taking my birth control. This is birth control that I've been taking and been fine on for years, not new. I read elsewhere that with rapid fat loss the estrogen contained in the fat gets released into circulation and can throw things out of whack. I just keep taking my injections and birth control pills, hopefully the bleeding will stop. Weird.

This protocol along with the hcg totally messes with my cycle although I don't take birth control pills. I went 72 days without a period, I was hoping I had seen the last of it since I'm at the age where that should happen any time now. I experienced PMS symptoms on and off the whole time.

Whatever you do, don't stop your injections before the minimum 23 day requirement or you will risk blowing the whole thing.

Hi I'm new here but thought I'd chime . I did get my period early 4 days after starting drops & VLCD. I stopped the drops and lost 0.4 lbs the first day, 1.2 lbs the second and then nothing today (day three) I have not been hungry at all during this time not taking the drops. However cramps and period were much stronger, but the worst my emotions were totally out of control for the first day. I keep waiting for the hunger to start but it hasn't yet.
So I'm glad I'm saving a few drops, but I'm keeping that bottle on me just in case.
Overall loss 10.4 lbs since starting the diet :) Yay

Okay...so round 1 (subq iinjections) my period lasted 2 weeks, was really heavy bright red blood the whole time. I finally skippped 2 shots and it went away. Next month was P3 and normal. This month I am on R2 and doing sublingual Rx. My period was late and then just a little spotting (and brownish, TMI sorry). I take BC pills. Now I'm really worried- could I be pregnant? If I take a test, could I get a false positive?? I sure hope this is normal and I'm NOT preggo~ btw I haven't missed any pills...
