Has anybody else suspected potency issues with the Hucog 2000iu vials. I finally got my dose correct a couple days ago, and either I'm a freak and need 300iu's subq. or there's some issue with this brand. I remixed yesterday and wanted to be sure about this, because my first mix was less than stellar. Expiration date is 10/12. I seem to remember, also, that there was a comment made by the manufacturer about them thinking that people would be pleased with the strength of the new liquid version, so now I'm wondering if they had problems.
many people have hunger issues that have to be worked out- is that why you think you have a potency problem? what dose and method are you on? where in P2? how do you know you have your dose "correct"? you may have mixed correctly, but different people seem to need different amounts.
Hi Margie. I'm pretty good at math. I'm on subq. p2 vlcd9, I've been gradually increasing the dose. Yesterday it took 300iu's to get rid of the hunger. That seemed unusually high to me. Perhaps it's still in the ball park. My first mix was less than stellar because the needle was loose on the mixing syringe. I waited to comment till I mixed again to be sure about this amount.
I'm on my 2nd mix of HUCOG 2000 i.u. exp 9/12 My so called stall started when I mixed my new batch. I've wondered if there might be something wrong with it. But stalls could be for so many reasons. I had decided to wait and see what happens with the next batch.
Tomorrow is my skip day. I just noticed I left my HCG out of the fridge... Soo... I will be making a new batch sooner then I expected.
This new mix is mixed correctly, Colleen. The first batch i made was a screw up because fluid leaked out of the syringe. I'm not going to go into how I came up with the guesses on the first batch. Suffice it to say that I'm a retired pipefitter who used math every day, and yes, I do know what I'm doing on that count. Because there was a leak, i will never know for sure how much leaked out. I recalibrated the amount that was left with a new needle (once I found out you had to screw them on tighter), just to give me a ball park #. I knew it was not going to be exact and that's why i didn't say anything about what seemed to be a high dose, till now after I'd remixed. Now I'm sure of the amounts. This time I mixed only 2 mls. with the 2000iu's and draw 2 units (.2 ml.) of the mix. This is 200 iu. (each ml has 1000iu's). I found it easier to simply mix in the bottle the hcg came in. I like the lower fluid amount for injecting.
