So this is kind of a random weird question, but every since I've started the VLCD, I have been having cotton mouth and feeling like I need to brush my tounge/teeth every 30 mins!!!! Does anyone else have this problem?!!

Oh hon, that's normal. LOL I know it's annoying but you can do anything for 6 weeks! :-) Make sure you eat your fruit. that helps keep you from ketosis which aggravates that feeling.

Some of them have chewed gum. Make sure it's sugar free of course if you decide to try it. Just know it's not on protocol though. :-(

I'm a gum chewer, it freaks me out if I don't. I used to smoke so it's a big habit for me. I haven't really noticed any weightloss probs with chewing sugar free. I've lost 12# after VLDC 16 days (started at 152# and 5'3" female).

omg, funny funny.....well it sounds like it's a good thing our mouths feel weird. I was wondering why I so desperately want to brush my teeth when I am not EATING anything!! ha ha ha.

A sign of ketosis....I like clues.
