So i started my second round yesterday on the hCG Diet and the books by kevin trudeau and pounds and inches say basically nothing about it. I didnt gorge and then the other sin i probably made was i started one day early. I know i shouldnt have done this but really i am so down on myself and i couldnt wait any longer-seriously. Today day two i got on the scale and only lost .4 of a pound. What is wrong with me?

IT IS SOOOO IMPORTANT TO LOAD TO GET THE FAT STORAGE OPEN AND READY TO WORK FOR YOU. I DON'T KNOW MAYBE YOU ARE STILL EARLY ENOUGH INTO IT YOU CAN STILL LOAD VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!! GOOD LUCK

Ya, I would try loading... you just started. What do you mean you started a day early?

if you meant you didn't wait quite the 6 weeks (or even the 3), i wouldn't worry about that. and remember- 1/2 lb per day is quite common for women. if you've been doing no starch/no sugar since your first round, you will not lose NEARLY as much at the start of the second round. when you first cut carbs out of your diet you have a huge amount of water loss.

don't worry- not a thing wrong with you! look at your loss over the long haul, not one day at a time.

i agree with the fat loading comments- if i were you, i'd continue with the hcg, but start loading and pretend it's day one. you really need that fat so that you don't lose structural fat during the first few days of low-calories.

    wow thank you!
i for some reason didnt think that it was right for me to load my second time because i thought it would just gain more weight anyway-which i did!

I am looking to start this protocal. I called a weight loss clinic and was told they don't use the loading part of the protocal and am concerned that that is wrong. Any one start first time protocal that way?

Dr. S. the original Pounds & Inches, states you must properly load for two days before going to the 500 calories. A lot of clinics use their "own" version of the protocol, but it is not the original. I would do the load days as Dr. S recommends.

Thanks Terry for your reply. I will look for another clinic or just tell them we are not comfortable with the no load option. We have not commited ourself to any specific clinic.
My wife will do the clinic and I will do DYI version at the same time. I will get my supplies from "WhenHealthMatters" web site.

You are welcome. This is my second round and I've lost a total of 43 pounds so far. I have about 4 pounds to go to my goal. I did every thing on my own. I talked to a doctor before, but I ordered from Drug Delivery the first time and Bob the second. I would recommond Bob. If you have major health problems, then I would go with a doctor or clinic but make sure they are using the original protocol from Dr. S, otherwise, you may or may not have true success.

sbrave-you definitely want to do your load days or you will be starving the whole time. Dr Simeon instructed two load days to make sure your normal fat reserves are full when you do this and then the hcg goes to work on the abnormal fat reserves. If you don't do the load days you will be ravenous and it will be harder to stay on the program. Lots of people have not taken the load days seriously and anyone that ever does another round always makes sure they do the load days properly as instructed the second, third time around, etc. It really helps!!Dr S knew what he was doing!
