I have been doing a modified p90x, 2 stretch days, 2 cardio days, 1 yoga, 1 kempo or just 2 yoga days and skip the kempo per week, depending on how I am feeling. I have been eating 150 cal of protein and 40 cal of veg. at each meal, then 120 cal of fruit spaced out through the day. Weight loss was good to begin with 1-2 lbs. a day. This last 4 days it has droped to 0.4-0.6 per day, even with skipping 60 cal of fruit. Do I need to go to just the 3.5 oz of meat per meal like in the regular protocal? The only other thing I can think of that could be slowing it down would be the use of the mustard, bbg sause and Ketchup from "THE HCG DIETER GOURMET COOKBOOK". I am on R1P2D12. I was under the impression that men lost 1-2 lbs. avg per day during P2. Any thoughts?

check sauces for sugars or starches. i used mustard whole time no problems. i bet others may have sugar though... esp. bbq sauce

are you getting close to goal weight?

normal for things to slow down. especially if you were losing 2lbs/day at some point.

Also, for me, exercise seems to make me retain water and either stall on P2, or gain (yikes!) on P3

    380,
If you're exercising that much, I think you should keep up with the additional protein. I did that as well and exercised 4-5 days a week and think the additional calories were necessary.
How about water - how much are you drinking?
And on using the condiments; are you using some for flavor or bunches and bunches?
I would also think that 1 lb/day average is more likely a typical amount for guys. Sure, 2 lbs/day sounds great but some of that is marketing. Even the place I used (and will use again) says "up to 30 lbs in 30 days!" and that's not likely for their mostly woman clientele -- but it sounds good, doesn't it?

I am drinking 96+ oz a day. I am only using them for some flavor. Yesterday I didn't have any and lost 0.8lbs. so today I am going to try a little on some chicken for dinner and see what happens tomorrow. I would be happy with 1lb per day.

Worcestershire sauce is almost all sugar- but it sounds like you've lost a lot, and your body is adjusting. you won't lose a pound every day after the beginning- especially if you've had days where you lost 2. men average right around a pound per day over the course of their round (average)- some a little less, some a little more. so for a 40-day program, probably around 35-42#. BUT, Dr. S. did tell people to limit their loss to 34# per round, even if that comes before 40 days.
