    Nanny,
My second week I was plagued with leg cramps.
I got a magnesium/potassium supplement and the cramps stopped within 24 hours.
Just make sure the supplement has no sugar/starch added.

    Best of luck.

SmartWater - I drink a liter a day (and plain water on top of that).

It's by a company called Glaceau, it comes in a tall, skinny bottle, and it's just pure water with added calcium, magnesium and potassium. I haven't had charlie horses since I started drinking it. I'm able to find it at just about every grocery store, drugstore and convenience store.

Right there with you Scott. Smart water works wonders. One of the best pieces of advice I ever got on this forum.

Is Smart water ok to drink on Phase 2? I am going to need something because I've been plagued with charley horses (is that the plural of horse, looks funny. lol) my whole life, wake up in the middle of the night in pain a couple times a week from them. The thing that has always helped me is to eat a banana, but obviously thats a no no on the protocol, so if this water is allowed I will betaking stock in the company.haha

Well...I am home for a quick dinner break from work my day. Unfortunately my work day got much longer. I am hungry, but I've done pretty well today. I had a coffee for breakfast at 6am, an apple for snack at 10am, a piece of fish with sauteed spinach and onion for lunch at 1pm, an apple for an afternoon snack at 4pm and now I am eating fish with sauteed cabbage and onions at 6pm. I have to be honest...I must be the only person I know that can burn a piece of fish in a George Foreman grill. I know I did not drink enough water today and need to pick up the consumption and that's probably why I am feeling so hungry. I talked to my doctors office today and thanks to the support of my newest friends on these blogs i've been saved. My dosage was incorrectly advised to me and should be 20 units and not 25 units, so I thank all of you for your input and a few individuals (you know who you are) in particular. I hope the rest of you are having a good day and finding successes in your weaknesses. Gotta get back to work, but I'll catch up later. Regards *andrew

    Andrew.
Welcome to my sporting goods manufacturing company. Sporting goods made from burned meal products. I happen to be an expert hockey puck creator.....usually burned bread products. However,....I did this round made some Chicken jerkey by accident. It tasted fine....but my macular muscles got a workout. I also found out that a shrunked chicken breast has the same calories as regular chicken breast.

My advice for not letting things get to dry is broth. I buy a low sodium chicken broth and freeze it in ice cube trays. Since 90% of my food is precooked, I reheat it with an ice cube or two of broth.

I precook all of my food as I have 5 other people to cook for and would fail miserably if I didn't precook! When I precook, I undercook a tad since I will be heating (and recooking) it up.

I also bag my veggies up: Radishes, cuc., celery. I will eat spinach on the days that I have fish that I have spiced up first, then my salad is tasty without dressing. I eat cabbage mainly in soup. I am too cheap to do asparagus right now.

Another tip - weigh at the same time - after you pee first thing in the morning. You will gain weight (a few lbs) as the day goes on, but you'll lose it while you sleep.

Andrew....it is also not recommended that you mix your veggies. I noticed for lunch you had sauteed spinach and onion and then cabbage and onion for dinner. That could cause you to stall, just so you are aware of that. Sounds like you have things pretty well figured out.
Oh, on the GF grill...I figured out that a piece of tilapia is perfect after 2 1/2 minutes if thawed, about 3- 3 1/2 min if frozen. The chicken tenders are perfect thawed at 2 1/2 min also. I've never tried cooking them from frozen. They are so moist done this way and all I add are whatever seasonings I want (on protocol-no sugar, no starch) and grill. No liquid required!
