    Just wanted to chime in for those that have maybe gained 5-10 lbs. through the holidays or while on P4 without noticing:

    I started P3 for the 2nd time on Thanksgiving did 3 weeks as directed, LIW was 139 but I stabilized around 142. Fine, no problem until December and LOTS of company and entertaining, then both my kids birthdays in January, etc.... Long story short, I had lost track, wasn't weighing faithfully like I normally would, and I slowly allowed myself sugars and breads on a daily basis in some form also diet mt.dew!

    Yesterday morning I weighed and I was 150! 11lbs above LIW right! I've also been going to "Spin" classes this month, so my legs have gotten a bit bigger too (Hate that! I am/was a pear shape) Anyway, I did a STEAK day yesterday for the first time since I don't know when! I had water, decaf coffee w/sf creamer, 1 diet dew, handful of plain raw almonds mid day and then around 6:30 I had 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of pork loin roast and then a sirloin steak around 7:00. I was going to dinner at someone's house and I wasn't sure what she was serving, no time to cook my own steak so I grabbed leftover pork and salami before going to her house. Then I get there and they were BBQ steaks! YIPPEE! Ate one steak with an apple.

    I was 145 this morning! 5 lbs in 24 hours! I will do a HIGH protein day today and maybe another steak day tomorrow, would like to see 140 this week... sugar withdrawels last night caused a headache during the night! But it will pass, sugar is POISON! I'm in the process of watching this video that someone posted about sugar. My husband has been watching too...     I did a steak day for the first time yesterday-down 3.4# this morning-thrilled!

    This is interesting...I've gained about the same amount, but have kept my extra 10 lbs on for about 2 months. Would the steak day still work for me after all that time? I think I'll give it a try...I love steak. What I did when I was in P3 was have a large steak for lunch and one for dinner. Is that correct? Thanks for the info!

    Goalie- A steak day is no food all day. only water or cofee and tea then for dinner you eat a steak as big as you can mangage with an apple or tomato. Steak should be eaten no earlier than 4:30. I think I have heard that it needs to be done right away but it never hurts to try it. Good Luck :)
