Hi. I'm brand new to this. I got my homeopathic HCG drops. It comes with a dropper without any markings. The directions on the bottle say: 10 drops 3 times a day. It doesn't say how much HCG that gives you if you do that amount. I'm assuming I need to be on 125 IU's a day? Is that what 10 drops 3 times a day would equal. I've seen some take a lesser amount 5 times a day. It's a 2 oz. bottle from Rebekahspureliving.com

Then, how do you do it? I heard I'm supposed to put it under my tongue for 15 seconds or so? Do you put it in something else so that it's measured out good and then try to hold it under your tongue?

These probably sound like silly questions, I just don't know for sure what I'm doing.

Well for one thing, that's probably too low of a dose. Most have to go up to 15 drops 3x a day. You hold it under your tongue a minute or two and you avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes on each side of the drops. Anything with a strong flavor can mess it up too, like coffee. So make sure you swish out your mouth and don't have anything strong tasting in there when you do it. Homeopathic works on a different principle than RX grade.

No silly questions here :)) no worries!! The 125 iu dose you hear about is for injections...specifically intra muscular injections. You are doing a different method with a different (homeopathic) mixture. You need to fill the dropper, then drop the drops back into the bottle and count out 10 drops and see how far the dropper dropped, so to speak. That will tell you how much to fill the dropper to each morning...in a rough sort of way. You can also just drop the drops and count them as you take them under your tongue...that's another method. :)) hope this helps.

    Momandwife,
Silly? Did I hear Silly? I'm always up for Silly. First of all...not silly. I'm doing homeopathic too. If you would like an easy breakdown...go to Rebekahspureliving.com click on hcg. On the page where it tells you the price of the product...scroll down the page...she has a break down of approximately how many drops equals how many iu's. Just to let you know...I ended up going to 35 drops 3x daily. I had read on one of the threads that a neighbor doctor had said you can go to that amount. But I didn't know about activating it, nor did I know that strong tastes can ruin it. I wish someone would come out with a homeopathic pamphlet or something. Unless your bottle says to refrigerate....you don't HAVE to...but some people say they can tell a difference when they don't. I like having it cold because it makes it easier to feel and count the drops than room temperature. My bottle is good until 2014. It is not like Rx grade that goes bad in 2 weeks or so.

All homeopathics work the same way, lis, and I've taken tons of them over the years though not the hcg ones. They work on an energy principle and strong taste can totally throw them off. My doctor always tried to get me to quit drinking coffee but that's not going to happen! LOL So I always drink my coffee, then lots of water to wash out the taste before I ever took my drops. Anything strong tasting is the same way, like cabbage or a strong fish.

Thanks so much Colleen and Kats. That helps. Here's my plan for Monday when I start my VLCD days. Apparently I'm a detailed person, but I want to know ahead what I'm going to be doing. Monday, I jump back into work as a teacher in an elementary school. I'm so busy with my kids after school, I want to be prepared ahead. Does this look about right? -

6:45 - Apple and Coffee for breakfast
7:30 - Drops (I'll try 15 drops in a small cup and put the drops under my tongue from there so I don't lose count)
    9:30 - 1 Cup Cucumber
12:00 - 1 Cup Cucumber and 100 grams of chicken
    1:30 - Drops
    3:00 - Melba Toast
6:00 - 2 cups lettuce and 100 grams of chicken
    7:30 - Drops

If that pattern and amount of food looks right, I'll use that pattern for the whole thing.

Thanks again for the time you put in to helping people,

    Renee'

Lis, Did you have good results with that amount of HCG?

Renee, you can have a whole cucumber. You don't have to measure like that. And you'll lose better if you don't eat the melba toast but that's up to you. You are also allowed another fruit, not just an apple in the morning.
