granny, me too please? lunalison@yahoo.com i love to cook, and some recipes would help prevent food boredom.
what do you suggest on terms of breadsticks/melba option? eat it or skip it? i usually don't eat gluten, i have no "serious" allergy to it but feel lighter without it. however seems like you should take "what you get" on this diet :) thanks
I as well need to second that cabage is lovely on Phase 2, it totally helps with carb cravings, but as with other foods allowed on this diet in phase 2 watch for individual stalls to things. What causes one person to stall or slow down, works great for another.
And for me, I would load, but not like some to the point of being sick. Dont get me wrong a typical load as a example for me is like A&W for breakfast two breakfast snadwiches, Subway for Lunch (foot long loaded sauces cheese etc etc)with cookies, some kind of main course stirfry for supper big bowl of ice cream....really add all the cals up its a TON of cals! But I never stuff to feeling sick....whats the point, the cal intake is massive! And I havent had hunger issues, just the first two days LC I will be more missing the full belly feeling...but not really truely hungry.
I drank Mate Chocolatte yerba mate tea by Guayaki and it was heavenly. Warms your tummy and has a slight chocolate taste which I crave in the morning. Also flavored stevia in mineral water is such a treat! Chocolate/vanilla sodas satisfied my sweet tooth.
Have food in the fridge so that when you are way ready for dinner it is there and ready to go. I found that I was the most hungry right before dinner- no one was safe to get between me and the fridge!
OMG! So much good info!! You guys are great for posting all your knowledge! I will do my best to complete as many of the suggestions as possible!!! Also, would someone pass along that recipe book to me? My email is hmm02323@yahoo.com
