i was frustrated with him, too, because i dismissed the program when i first read his book because so much of his advice was impractical. it wasn't until after my doc suggested the shots that i realized how much he had changed the original protocol- like his insistence that you never eat anything other than organic food.
but as my journey continues, i have come to appreciate more of his ideas. Our food chain is much different now than it was in the 50's, and i do agree that a lot of the chemicals, additives, pesticides, etc., have contributed to the growing obesity in the US.
i think to try to do everything at once is not only impractical and expensive, but quite overwhelming. my plan is to continue to make small changes, a bit at a time. i am buying better quality food, and avoiding chemicals and additives as much as possible. i'm also now trying to use organic products such as lotion and shampoo (especially lotion, since it stays on your skin). i bought a filter for my hot tub that enables me to cut down on the bromine.
eating organic food is a bit tougher for me, since the market for that is poor in west michigan- but i try to buy more meat that doesn't have antibiotics, etc.
Thanks for all your opinion, I'm really tired about this Kevin, because in his book, he put incredible goals, impossible to do!!! In our country, for example, he write don't use to much the air condition!!! And We need to drink this terrible tea, without any sugar, no stevia, nothing!!! on my first 10 day before my research, was terrible for me!!! I don't drink water for the tap, or cold for 26 days!!! only spring water, because he say that in his book, now I go to re-reading Dr. Simeons manuscript and I'm going to forget very thing about Kevin books, except the opinion about organic food, because I'm agree now everything in our country has a lot of growing hormone bat for our healht, but now I'm buying the natural product only, because the organic form the Whole Food Store was a really food only for rich people!!!
