Congrats Maxi on completing your first round! What a successful round it was. I know you will reach your goal by your birthday. Has your wife finished her round also? How did she do?
I am waiting to do my next round, round 3 the end of January. I have 50 lbs left to go and hope to have them gone by my 35th wedding anniversary the end of June.
Hi Jack..Thanks! Wife did 33 days and dropped 20.5lbs. She has maintained (less then 1 lb variation) for the last week. I'm still kind of afraid to eat. Her metabolism is SO different then mine. We had 2 bottles of champagne on New Years eve and her weight was unchanged the next morning. I gained 4.5 pounds overnight. I've been craving protein so will stick with that and try to keep portions small. I guess tomorrow's weigh in will tell the story.
Greetings group! Starting round 2. I blew phase 3 of round 1 and never stabilized. I think going off my blood pressure meds right at the end of round 1 may have something to do with it. I'm on R2VLCD2 and 10 pounds over Rd1 LIW. I guess its not SO bad but I am going be VERY strict on rd 2 p 3. TO Colleen> How's switching over to IM? Anything to report?
Hey Maxi--check out 4hcgsuccess.com --that's where many of us have been spending lots of time...including Colleen (though she checks back in here too!)
I'm going to go for the "2's" VLCD32 and down 40.4 pounds in round 2. At 311 pounds and 11 pounds to get in the 2's and 11 days to get there. I HAVE to go for it, even if I have to eat nothing but apples for eleven days.
I love IM! I'll do it again. I felt great on it but I had to go higher than I would have expected. It's because I did it in my thigh though. I found 175 iu was my ideal dose in my thigh.
I have to say I probably still spend more time here than on the other site. Not sure why. . . Colleen
it seems like many people are drifting back here, doesn't it? the biggest problem for me is that it doesn't tell you where you left off in a thread- if you've opened up the site at all, it resets it like you've looked at all the posts. this one is faster- and i still think easier on the eyes, although i like all the features over there.
