I don't feel that I was bad at all today BUT.... I do have to confess that I drank a big glass of red wine. I shouldn't have and honestly I'm not really sorry I did. I didn't have any fruit or melba toast (I hardly ever eat the Melba anyway) and very little veggies. I had the wine and upped my water by a liter. I hope I get lucky and only stall for a day or two but whatever happens I just have to stay the course. I'm pretty proud of myself for doing as well as I did considering this is my first Thanksgiving after losing a Sister, Brother, Aunt and my Papaw. Needless to say it has been a rough year and the previous stated is why I gained so much weight. So YAY for me for making it through....Ok, Christmas....here I come, even stronger than before :-)
LindsLou - Congrats!! I think you did an awesome job considering what you have had to deal with. It shows just how strong you are! Christmas is going to be a breeze for you!!! May God bless you because you deserve it!! I think one glass of wine isn't bad - you could have eaten the whole turkey for crying out loud LOL
Lindaslou, well done to you. It is always hard when we have nice food in front of us but when you have a time for remembering and you have lost loved ones it must be doubly hard so big congrats again to you. what are you on P2 or P3. I will finish P2 one week before Christmas so i will be able to have some of the nice things but not all. I even started planning what i will be eating.
That's great, Linda! I'm on P3 so it wasn't hard not to cheat. I had a big pile of turkey and various veggies. I had a mug cake all ready for dessert and wasn't tempted TOO much by the pumpkin pie. :-) We're sitting in the airport in Indy about to fly to Phoenix to see our baby girl. :-) Colleen
everyone is doing great! even I only did +.4 with all the "tastes" I took ... I lost my mom this year - know how you feel lindsay colleen, make lots of good memories hugs to all!
Linday you did great. I can't imagine being in P2 and having t-giving dinner. Crossing my fingers for you that you will have minimal stall from this :-)
Well, the good news is that I actually lost .4 lbs after my slip up. I guess I'll just have to wait to see if I stall. I think I'll be fine either way....as long as it's not a gain I can deal with it. @Anclair- I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. I don't think I would have made it through all of this w/o mine. My heart goes out to you and yours. @Colleen - I hope you have a wonderful visit with your daughter and thanks for always responding :-) @Nats - I am in P2, long round, vlcd day 19. From 229.5 to 205.0 as of today...lost 24.5. Not bad, eh?!?
LindsLou, 24.5 on day 19 is very good you must be very happy. Well done to you for doing a long round, don't know how you do it. 23 days is long enough but 40 no thank you. Admire all of you who can and your will power must be fantastic, but mine only last 23 days. Hope you keep on losing well :)
