I'm on VLCD 19 and find that food is starting to make me nauseous. The idea of another bite of spinach turns my stomach and makes me want to barf. I have a VERY strong stomach (a certain member on here can vouch for that) and I go years w/o feeling nauseous. Is this normal? Is my body just sick of the limited food choices???
That has happened to me, if fact early this week I thought I could not do this another day. I wanted to gag with just the thought of food. It has actually happened several times, each lasting 3 days or so. The good news is it does pass, or has with me. There are some things I still can not eat, but don't give up. Just look for some variety and different ways to cook things. Soup helped me a lot.
I just took my last drops an hour ago and FORCE FED myself my chicken breast. I couldn't even think about eating veggies today. I choked down 1 apple and am DONE. I don't know how the next three days will be, but I'm extremely anxious to mix it up a little in p3!!!
I am on Day 14 and for the past couple of days felt like I was going to throw up. Even new recipes that should be appealing are not. This is an odd feeling for me because I have a strong stomach also and I have met VERY FEW foods I didn't like. Just the thought of spinach and grilled chicken turns my stomach. I only have another week to go though so I'll be ok.
Well hcg is the nausea factor in pregnancy isn't it? I got an aversion to vegetables, leafy greens especially, which is what happened during pregnancy. Interestingly, i am having the opposite on P3. I inhale salad.
However I'm not sure i will ever be able to eat another chicken breast again.
I have also experienced some nasuea, however for me it seems to be because I need to eat. I struggle with chicken breast but have always prefered dark meat as it is more moist. I have been doing a mix of beef and fish, and shell fish and it is working out fine.
