I am on my second round, taking a break from P2 during the holidays, so I'm currently on P3. In a week it's more P2.
I am using hucog hCG ordered from alldaychemist.com. I inject with 27 guage 1.25" needles (totally painless most of the time). I lost 30lbs my first round, which has had absolutely amazing effects on my personal happiness as well as my ability to get things done. I started out about 283lbs and stabilized at almost exactly 253lbs during P3/P4.
This second round has been tough. I think I was expecting to drop the weight quicker, so I got discouraged when I stalled. I need to journal my food better to see if there is a problem with something I am eating. When I continue the P2, I'm going to stick with chicken breast and hope that makes a difference. I ate a lot of roast beef this round, and at first I was losing a pound a day. Then I stalled and couldn't seem to make much progress. I'm down about 13lbs this round so far. Even though I haven't lost as much this time, I'm still very much a fan of this protocol. It has given me so many benefits that I didn't think were possible. For one thing, I can actually tie my shoes without getting red the face and breathing hard. Good times.
forgot to add that I started out at .150 this round, then up to .175, and finally .200. The higher dose seems to make a difference. I felt empty a lot, and hate that feeling, but I didn't have the grumbling stomach that can keep me awake or take my mind off of daily tasks.
I'll chime in for my DH! He's not a "forum" kind of guy, but I've been roaming around here since he started HCG. DH just finished about a 30 day round and has lost about 32 lbs, started at a weight of 245! He's doing injections at 175-200iu. He did wonderfully and never once cheated, although towards the end of his round, he was finally getting tired of the food and is looking forward to P3. I'm so proud of him and can't wait to start my own round at the first of the year! thanks for all the guidance and inspiration we find here!!
Thanks for chiming in! I am on R1 VLCD 12 and have lost about 10 lbs (minus the loading days). About .8 a day. I really expected it to be higher. I'm doing the injections at 150 iu and am also on the Hucog. I'm wondering if I should increase to 175. I also have a desk job and wonder if that is impacting this any.
DH, way to go! In the end, I'm hoping to be as successful. This is my first time on the diet and am doing the 40 day round.
Hello-I've been hanging out in bloggs trying to figure out what Is "TOM". I learned that I don't have to deal with that on HCG "time of the month" or TOM. I guess a big issue and set back for women. I'm on Phase 3 but I lost 46 pounds in phase 2. I used the injections at 200 daily without skipping a day each week. I ate a lot of smoked turkey (not on protocal, but didn't hurt me), green beans, pickles, lean hamburger patties. Good Luck
Yesterday was my last injection day, and I've lost 22.8 lbs. This was my first round, and I'll be doing another in January to get to my goal weight of 155 lbs. That's 23 lbs. away, and if it doesn't happen in 23 days, I'll just extend the round a few days. I'm not too worried about developing an immunity to the hcg, because I think I'll be able to maintain it once I get there.
I had one major cheat this round, and it set me back exactly 1 week, otherwise I'd be a lot closer to my goal. I started out using sublingual, switched to sq injection, and used 175 IUs per day throughout.
did a 43 day starting the 1st wk in july. P3 was difficult, went to an out of state wedding 3 days later. the food fare was pizza and beer! still within 4 # of my liw. fluxuates 6 to 8 #'s all over the place but settles back to the origonal 35# drop. was kinda planning on another round befor the holidays but, thought better of it - too many interuptions. Have an odd schedule as a norm. Don't need to reinforce the 'odd' part of it. After the 1st of Jan, there's nothing going on for awhile. Looks like a good time to go for it again. There's several planning the same. I want to get to something under 180# and I'm running around 203# now. Good luck to all!!!
I started my weight-loss journey over a year ago when I seen 298.8 on the scale and was scared that I was about to top 300 LBS!! I starting hitting the gym, sometimes multiple times per day, and the weight began to slowly come off, but I seemed to gain it back soon and then lose again, gain again, lose again.........this made it very difficult for me to try to have a normal eating pattern and I just relaxed and kinda gave up on it. My lowest was 238 and I managed to creep back to 262, which is where I was at on 8/24/09 when I began a "Biggest Loser Challenge" at work. I managed to drop 12 lbs in the first 6 weeks of the challenge and was frustrated because I hadn't lost more! A friend of mine told me about the hhcg that they were taking and I immediately bought it and took my first dose on 10/17/09. I continued to take the drops until 11/15 and I NEVER cheated a single time on P2! My LDW was 217.2 which is the weight I was in high school when I wrestled, played football, soccer, etc. I am VERY happy with the results I achecved in P2 and I am now on the 6th day of P3. I was 219.0 this morning and have had to have 1 "steak day" already, but it definitely helped me to get back to the +/- 2 lb range. I am starting to figure out a few things about my body and have figured out that Splenda is not good for my body and found out that I shouldn't be using it anyway, but I gained after having some Splenda ice cream from Braums. Like I said, I am VERY happy with the results I have seen on the hhcg and I hope this is the last diet that I ever have to do! No plans for a 2nd round anytime soon and I will start to incorporate some running and toning into my weekly routines and I am hoping to stabilize under 220 in P3!
I've got a coworker who is definitely the other side of 300 lbs. He's had multiple health issues related to his weight and blood pressure, some that required hospitalization. Last Friday he asked me about what I'm using to drop weight so fast, so I printed the protocol over the weekend and gave it to him yesterday morning. He read it through the day, and asked me where I bought the hcg and syringes. I told him, and it looks like he's going to do it. I hope so. He's a nice guy, but he travels a LOT for work, and for whatever reason, he's decided that traveling means indulging in every food vice there is. I went on one business trip with him and by the end of two days I was so full, so hungover, and so generally crapped out that I didn't want to face food again for a week. And I love food. I think he misses time with his family and compensates with food.
