Here's a new invention of mine: over low heat, stir together 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 tablespoon butter, 5 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, xylitol (or sweetener of choice) to taste. Barely heat (don't boil) so that the sugar substitute and cocoa dissolve. You may have to play with amts to get it thicker or thinner--however you like it. Remove from the heat and stir in 1/4 tsp almond extract and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Pour while still warm over warm Mug cake--add whipped, sweetened heavy cream on top if desired. Tastes evil!
well, I just had some and it was pretty darn intense as is. But the expresso would be good too. I was so rich that I had to have coffee with it lol. Great for the chocolate cravings!
that sounds excellente another variation is unsweetened coconut pecans and raisins, Reminds me of german chocolate cake icing mmmmm darn it was so good =/ I ate the whole thing
Ohhhh..another discovery! I took the extra "sauce" for the mug cake (mine was a little thick) and put it in a muffin tin. I froze it. After it froze, I filled it with natural peanut butter. Then I put more sauce on top and threw it back in the freeer.. and a P3 chocolate peanut butter cup was born!! Ok, don't worry, I didn't eat the whole thing at the same time..TOM on the way..I think that's why I'm craving sweets : )
