Yea thats why im asking, I mean its hard to lose weight for everyone, but you mentioned just not being able to budge weight wise, thats like how I am ....well was before this diet....Im only 27 now, but I was always always 130-140 my whole life, till went on birth control when I got married, gained 40lbs in 6 months!!! I swear I could have been eating grass and still gained, stopped birth control after 6months of hell!!!! weight gain and it was literrally makingme mental, I started havinga panic attacks....found out that i was put on a pill that they normally give premenopausal women, Diane 35 (has super high estrogen I guess) Well when I went off, I didnt gain anymore weight for a whole year....but also could not lose.....got pregnant, put on 35 lbs with that pregnancy and was left over with 20lbs.....then I got unexpectantly pregnant 8months later....( wowza!) put on again 35 lbs...was left over with 20lbs,,,and thats where I was STUCK....like totally utterly STUCK for 2 years...until now..
So really really bad hormone weight...and now Im sure that certain food intorlences only adding to the fact that my body wasnt able to let go of weight.....sheez! Isnt it fun being female?
Needless to say I cant be on any form of Birth control now, even though I used to take as a teenager for acne, that one Diane 35 made me sooooooooo sensitive to it. Makes me sick to know I gained the same amount of weight in two pregnancies as i did 6months on the pill :S
I think weight gain is a side effect of birth control pills. My husband got a vasectomy after my daughter was born. I told him that I wasn't going to go back on the pill because I could tell it was starting to adversely affect me. We used condoms for a good 2 years before he got the nerve up, but I never took the pill again.
Yes, that's the estrogen. Bc you took the pill as a teen, there's a chance you were already too high in estrogen, then getting on the pill again sent you into estrogen toxicity. You need to clear your Phase I and II pathways in your liver and decongest your gallbladder. It's too much info for a post, but basically it will detox all the excess estrogen from your body.
Yes, eggs and cheese can be causing reactions in you. Go off dairy and eggs for a couple of weeks. The introduce each one separately, three days apart, and see how you feel after each one. There is still plenty to eat! I have been off eggs, dairy and wheat for the last four years and still managed to be 60 pounds overweight, lol.
jeve- you also become sensitive to foods you eat a lot of- so you might try to be aware of how those affect you, too. i became sensitive to tomatoes and strawberries after eating them daily on P2- and almonds and cashews from P3. this is another good reason to vary your diet as much as you can, in all phases.
Try cutting out eggs and cheese for about three days. See how your mood is. If you're feeling good again, add back in one of those things for three days in a row and see if it bothers you. If you still feel good, add back in the other item. I bet it's one of those things, maybe both. Colleen
