Annette - I too had no idea of what was happening. I pray the Lord's peace and healing power for your husband. I also pray his loving comfort and strength for you and your children. We are all here for you and I know He answers prayers! I do not do Facebook either, but would like to know how to made a contribution to help out.

May God and His Angels send peace, comfort, and complete healing to Elmer! May God continue to grant you courage and strength during this time of healing!
Keep your thoughts positive at all times, no matter what the reality looks like. Please think of what will happen after Elmer gets the health heart and how strong he will get. He is playing with your children and having fun again!
God, within us, knows no limitation. God is directing the correct heart and doctors for Elmer!
God is the Great I Am! God is the Great Healer and Physician!!

Can someone tell me how to find the Facebook page? There are ton of people named Elmer and I don't know how to narrow the search.

Go to the left side of Facebook where it has all the different things listed. Mine said "News Feed" in a blue background, then under it has "Pages, Status Updates, etc" If it says "More" click on it and "Groups" will show up. Then type in "Elmer's Heart Transplant Fund." It will take you to the page to donate! -
Can you do it if you're not a member of Facebook?
