.....I have decided that being in p4 and participating in this forum is alot like being a parent. You offer advice, sometimes when asked, sometimes when not asked. People largely discount what you say, because of course they know better than you do...then eventually they realize the things you said were correct, but it is an ah ha moment to them....their personal discovery that of course no one has ever told them about before, and they feel they should patent it....then the parent sits back and smiles to themselves...knowing their job is done.....:))
ILuvKats - You said you went 9 weeks your first round and don't recommend doing that. Why? Because I am on r1p2d33 and after I get to day 40, I should be about 10-12 pounds from my forever goal weight. I was thinking of just plugging along an extra couple of weeks to be done with it so I won't have to do this again.
But I'm interested to know why you don't recommend doing that. What happened to you? I am on the hhcg drops, not the injections.
wilsong- although you don't have to worry about immunity with hhcg, Dr. S. did limit each round to a max loss of 34#, even if his patients got there before day 40. so he apparently had a reason that he didn't think it was good to lose more than that at a time, without taking a break to stabilize. 12 pounds late in a round would probably take you another 24 days, which is a lot to do all at one time. if you took a break for P3 and P4, you give your body time to re-set at the new weight, and figure out what you can eat and what you can't on P3 and P4. Then you could come back and do a short round to lose the last of your weight. probably a healthier way to do it in the long run.
