I can't seem to find any that doesn't have sugar on the ingredients list, however the sugar content is zero for the ones I've bought. I figured it's sorta like salad dressing... look for very low sugar options. Had some last night (bacon wrapped scallops yum!) and did not have any negative effects on the scale this morning.
Do you live by a Costco? they have a kirkland brand that is low sodium and has no sugar in it. But be careful because they have a regular kirkland brand that has sugar in it. You have to look for the low sodium. I actually prefer it because it's plenty salty, just not overly salty like some bacons are.
I buy Gwaltney..40% less fat, and NO sugar! It is the package that is green. Fat is reduced from 8 g to 4.5 g per 14 g serving of fried bacon. I buy it at Winn-Dixie, but it should be in most grocery stores.
i looked at walmart (2 diff ones), homeland, and target. haven't had the chance to go by a whole foods store but i live pretty far away. will have to be a weekend trip.
oh thanks meg! i can do turkey bacon but didn't read those ingred lists. i will just have to buy turk bac fo rme and the other bacon for my fam. they wont eat turk bac!
that's what I do, they'll eat if I make them, but I guess that wouldn't be very nice : ) Plus it last longer if you are the only one eating it. I'm always trying to make the budget strech : )
