    Help! I am nearing the end of VLCD1 and TOM has arrived. I had not been keeping track of TOM because I had an IUD put in about 5 months ago and since then, TOM has been very irregular and even skipped a month. I am taking the homeopathic drops and I was extremely painfully hungry today. I did very well loading on load days 1 and 2 and gained 3.2 pounds. I don't want to stop now, does anyone have any suggestions? HELP!

    You can continue to take it through TOM but if you're hungry, try upping your dose. How much are you taking? The other idea is that it's possible TOM is making your hungry, so you could eat today and tomorrow with a couple of extra load days. But if your dose is low (like 10 drops) I'd try upping it.

    Hi grammy 1952, thank you for responding. I'm taking what the bottle recommends, 10 drops, 3x/day. I can do more load days?

    That's a very low does, summperr. Most have to take 15 3x a day. Two is the recommended load days but you could wait and start over, continue on, or load an extra day or two. You'd have more weight to take off if you load more days though.

    I certainly don't want to gain anymore weight - and I did so awesome today sticking with the protocal. I think I will go ahead and tough it out. I'll start taking 15 drops tomorrow morning and pray the hunger isn't as bad, thank you Colleen, you are a blessing.

    You could take some extra drops yet tonight, summperr! That might help with tomorrow. :-)

    Hi Summperr, Don't worry, I got TOM on my first VLCD too, and it worked out fine. I just did extra drops of my HHCG, and I felt fine (well the first 3 days I was hungry, which is normal even without TOM, but much better after that). Good luck!

    My sister got her TOM on day 4 of the VLCD and KEPT losing! And guess what? the day after it stopped she showed a 5 lb LOSS! So keep going!! Try eating the dried apples from the healthfood store (bagged --the ingredients read "Organic Apples" or "Organic Apples, Cinnamon". They are 20 cals a serving and I had them all the time on P2. I exchanged them for my apple serving. The "crunch" helped me get through TOM : )

    Thank you so much Colleen, strawberry & debkru, these last 3 days have been much better than the first. That first morning after the first day, I was down 2.4 pounds, then the next morning it was 2 pounds and this morning I was down 1.6 pounds! 6 pounds total in 3 days, the suffering was definately worth it. Oh and I have upped my dosage to 15 drops, 3x a day. Thanks so much for the encouragement!
