Welcome Kbirdmom!! I also just tell people I am doing a cleanse, with no sugars or starches. Seems to work
First off I want to say welcome to Kbirdmom, glad you found us we will take good care of you here on the Releana site.....Margie has help so many who are doing the shots and drops but since our protocol is a little different we started a thread for just Releana users...any questions let us know! also no coconut oil during p2 you can use it on your skin but not to cook your food....
Ok deb130 I think the cottage cheese It's not on protocol... let's see what the others say who are on Releana that may be you stalling you... we can have egg whites but no cheese Maybe try some red meat it has not stalled me at all like some have said I usually have it with Asparagus also we can mix our vegey's so you can have more than one at a time as long as it's 3.5 ozs maybe mixing the vegey's will give more flavor and not be boring....Garlic i use it on everything... do you like shrimp check earlier on this link and i think i posted a few recipes I did all very simple also on the old thread I'll go back and copy and paste them... also we can have any white fish they all taste alittle different so maybe try tilapia very mild flavor anyway hope this helps... I know it's important to eat we need those 500 cals so If tou need more Ideas let me know ....and I use the Walden Farms dressings I'm not haveing a problem with stalling from them i average .68 lb a day... I think we all start to think about other foods at about this time I was dreaming about being on P3 today and figureing out what i'll beable to have Stick with it, your doing great
Welcome KBirdmom. How many days have you been on the "d-----"? I'm sure you will find all the feedback helpful.
After reading the last couple of pages I'm questioning something...remember I was gone for a while and said I had the flu..now I'm wondering if it was the flu. All that started on me right at Day 43. Terrible pain in my whole stomach area, hunger that I hadn't experienced while on Releana,a very weak feeling, I also had stomach upset spending lots of time on the throne and throwing up. If you remember I was so weak and my husband was feeding me toast everyday as that was really all I thought I could keep down. So I wonder was it the flu or was it the same as NYC went thru. Everyone should pay attention when they get around that day 40-43 and see if anyone else feels sick. I just kept going and continued taking my Releana and all the toast caused my weight to go up for a few days when it was all over but finally this am I was down 1.8. Strange coincidence???
well I'm on day 38 so we'll see whar happens this flu is going around and i normally doen't get it at least not instestinal type i'm going to take a some airborne just to make sure I ward off the germ monsters....i've also been straying my isamune, 3 strays in the morning it's colostrum based no sugar builds immune system
i don't know what the releana company says about cottage cheese, but here is what Dr. S. says:
Strict vegetarians such as orthodox Hindus present a special problem, because milk and curds are the only animal protein they will eat. To supply them with sufficient protein of animal origin they must drink 500 cc. of skimmed milk per day, though part of this ration can be taken as curds. As far as fruit, vegetables and starch are concerned, their diet is the same as that of non-vegetarians; they cannot be allowed their usual intake of vegetable proteins from leguminous plants such as beans or from wheat or nuts, nor can they have their customary rice. In spite of these severe restrictions, their average loss is about half that of non-vegetarians, presumably owing to the sugar content of the milk.
mgondance i hoped that it was true i love cottage cheese ....Also i wonder if you are eating meat chicken fish and not a vegetarian how that effects the outcome? mixing the dairy with the other animal protein.... interesting info and after reading that again i would stay away since it sounds like it slows the release of lbs.... we are allowed 1 tablespoon skim milk for coffee but i need a ratio of 1 part coffee 3 parts milk LOL i miss my lattes! I wounder also if that is the reason some people gain in p3 when they introduce cheese and milk back in to there diets to quickly they may not be sensitive just to much sugar....thanks
ok here's a new one how about coloring your hair i should have asked this before putting my color on LOL I guess I'll know in about 20 mins...anyone had any problems with that?
Destiller Isamune is a product I take to build my immune system is part of the program I was on with the shakes i 've used it for the last 3 years and usally double up during the flu season so i don"t get sick....Knock on wood I rarely get sick and if I do homiopathics(sp) meds work no antibiotics i'll tell you more about them next time we talk....
ok going to wash the color out hope it's not green OMG!
As far as I know, dairy is def not allowed on this protocol...except one teaspoon of skim milk (and I SO don't understand the point of having that). First, it's not good for your digestion - even if you're not on this protocol. So, it's possible that it's not working well with your body.
I also suggest eating red meat. I think it is much more tastey than chicken or fish - even with seasoning. I buy lean steak and as long as I don't overcook it, it is great for flavor. I was just eating chicken at first and, when I started eating red meat, it was so much better. Also, if you're not eating grilled chicken (just the soup) I would recommend that too. I use this great 20 herb seasoning from Trader Joe's and I eat it with grape tomatoes(very sweet) and use Trader Joe's balsamic vinegar (which almost tastes like I'm cheating because it, too, is very sweet)
But, I would definitely suggest stoping the the cottage cheese.
