Deb - I wouldn't say I have problems eating my meals but, there are times that I don't want to eat b/c I'm totally not hungry.
I find that working out increases my appetite - sometimes a little too much but, maybe if you're not exercising at all, you could try that to help with your appetite. I know that exercise isn't part of a lot of people's protocol but, my doctor strongly recommends it.

    sophie8,
I started P3 on Sunday. So far so good. It is strange eating food again and I am definitely struggling with adding in more food, I get full very easily. I have been taking it slow and so far I am doing okay I am still 1 lb. below my last releana day weight, but I lost 2 additional lbs. on the three extra 500 calorie days so I have actually gained 1 lb. over the past 2 days. From what I have read that is completely normal.
I will keep you updated on my progress. I am thrilled there will be another Releana user in P3!!

Sophie8 and nyc33 I'm so excited for the both of you and so look forward to your successes on P3 and P4 I'm sure the rest of the group will be excited as well to see and hear how your doing...we're here for ya!

Deb130 and dgg I have many times had to remind myself to eat I'm truly not hungry I make sure I get my calories, so I follow the protocol I sometimes end up eating late like 8:30 pm because I've come home from work get in front of the computer and truthfully the dog reminds me "Hey MOM whats for dinner?' I really need to work at timing my meals better like no later than 7pm

Soph and nyc. Just wondering how many days you were on vlcd. I am on day 43, and am thinking about going into phase 3 for a while, as I am having a bit of a hard time. Not feeling real good. Low grade headaches, tummy aches, not wanting to eat anything. I do have appt. with my doc on Tuesday, so trying to hold out till then. I have more to lose, but wonder if my body is trying to tell me something.

Has anyone taken a break by going on phase 3 and then gone back to phase 2 while doing sublingual? I know the sl is a bit different when it comes to immunity, so no real need to do this in rounds like the ones who are doing injections.

Deb130, I was wondering also how many days they had done... I'm on day38... 25.8lbs released Very Happy I figure I need another 6 weeks to get to my goal and knowing that I'm on the drops will help keep me from straying off to Carbville... I know that hearing everyone else doing the phases in cylces makes you wonder weather we should to... Talk to your Dr. I'm also going in on Friday for a shot of b-12 and will also ask again maybe thaey can fine tune what your doing!

Also could you revue what you are eating types of foods maybe we can give you some Ideas on new recipes to help with new flavors... I think the hardest part of this is cooking and The Cleaning up after I dislike the cleaning part will got to get to work

    Later

    BTY down .8 yeah!

Good Morning!! Yippee!! Finally a move in the right direction. Down 1.8 this am. That's 27.4 in 49 days. I hope I don't get sick again and have to go through that again!! I have meetings so I don't go to the Dr until Friday this week.I'm concerned about him saying they were going to change products from Releana to something else. Maybe I can find out more then.

Hi all - I'm a new Releana user, and am amazed at the results so far. Around 1lb a day, and around 1% body fat (according to my scale) a day. (More or less...) I'm going to visit my MD today to check on various lotions I'm using to see if they might be slowing the loss; my skin care person and I have been working together on some resurfacing - I think some of the products might be not OK. I'm delighted to see that coconut oil is OK on the diet. If you haven't heard of this yet, check out Plan Dee - an eating plan without any processed foods, and uses coconut oil. I love this oil, and am pleased to learn I can use it as a skin lotion, too. No, it doesn't strongly smell of coconuts (good thing - I hate that smell). www.plandee.org

My highschool buddy, mgsongdance, turned me on to this form of weight loss, and believe me, like all of you, I've tried everything. My body is immune to weight loss, and I have some physical limitations due to the weight and former surgeries. I'm looking forward to a new lifestyle that includes more physical activity and adventure! I love to travel - my 'gift' for getting to goal weight will be a trip to India (someplace I've always wanted to visit - but could not stand the heat at my current weight)!

Question for forum members - I'm not telling folks how I'm doing this - yet. After all the diets I've been on, hubby will just NOT 'get' this one until he sees results on me and also sees I am OK. So - how have all of you handled this with family who roll their eyes when you use the word "diet" ?

BIG thanks to Margie and everyone's comments. :)

    Good Morning all,

    To answer your question:
I was on Releana for exactly 60 days. - 30lbs. lost (which was my goal exactly)

Deb130, I also was experiencing a bit of dizzyness and hunger around day 43 (I just checked my notes) I was also getting my TOM then but it continued for a full 9 days. I stuck it out, but I was generally hungry for that period of time and struggling through. I stuck it out and lost an additional 7 lbs from that point so it was worth it.

I am on day 4 of P3 and the scale has gone up .4lbs every morning. It is not easy watching the scale move in the wrong direction but I am still almost a full lb. down from my LIW, so nothing to worry about yet.

    KBirdmom,
I told everyone I was doing a nutritional cleanse. when they asked more questions about it I would always say, "its dr. supervised, they are working on balancing my hormones" that always seemed to work. I never said I was on a diet :-)

Hope you all have a great day :-)

Thanks, NYC33, for the recommendation about the hormone balancing. That's excellent. :) I will definately use that one. It's true, accurate, but omits the dreaded four-letter "D-word".

I have a SIL who is on a shake-diet program (w/ incredible amounts of chemicals and additives) which I considered, but it just didn't sound 'right' to me - all those chemicals! That's what got me here!

    Everyone have a great week!
