releasing- sorry to hear about your friends dad. Does he have cancer? So many of my friends have been dealing with cancer lately. Thankfully, so far all are survivors. 3 of breast cancer.

Makes me even more motivated to get this weight off and work on my overall health.

Getting ready for the stall TOM hit today. I'm 51, don't you think it is time to end this?!!! Sisters didn't till 54, so i think I'm doomed to a few more years.

Hello Everyone!! Sorry about my absence but I've been sick with the flu for about 5 days. Beth called so I thought I better sign on and let you all know I'm still around.

I'm 56 years old and live in Tampa, Fl. I have a wonderful husband who took care of me while I was sick, 2 children, 5 grandchildren. Only one of the grandkids live in Tampa so she gets pretty spoiled!! My children are all grown so now I have 3 Samoyed's who keep me company. It doesn't snow in Florida but if you were inside my house on grooming day you'd think differently!! All that white hair is just blowing everywhere!! My three "boys" are Buddy, Buster and Bailey and they are a handful!! We're going to be showing Bailey if he ever learns how to walk without pulling me around!!!

I'm on day 47 and my weight loss is 25.6. It was at 26.4 but being sick put me back. My hubby kept feeding me tea and toast to make me feel better!! I felt so terrible that I just ate it and didn't complain. I see a Dr at a weight loss clinic and so far I'm very happy with the Releana and how it is working for me. My average weight loss per day is .544 so I'm pleased with the average!!

I'm usually on here late at night but since Beth called I thought I better say hello!! Talk to you all tonight.

I saw my doc today - my 24th day on Releana and I lost 14lbso far....9lbs of fat, and then a combo of some muscle (about 2lbs) and something I didn't understand - water etc. Does anyone else get a breakdown of fat/muscle/water weight when they see their doctor?

    good morning all,
well i'm having a mini plateau again did release sat .6 and sun 1.2 2 days 0000 I haven't been below the 160's in a long time so not sure if it's that or the fact I'm putting food in and it's not coming out I've been taking the Calm with calcium 2x a day nothing happening I'm going to take an aloe capsule that always works other than that all is well
I'm working the next 3 days, still have a parttime job... my boss in coming in on Thursday we usually go to lunch (sit down restaurant} well I told her about being on this special eating plan and that I need to bring my lunch she said she'd get a Subway and we could do a little picnic ...she was pretty impressed I'd released 25lbs.. wants to know how I did it.....Also my friend Bobbi who is my biggest food buddy {not in size} we both love to cook and have parties finally heard I was looking good from another friend... well she called to see what I was doing and actually was very supportive... I've been a little worried about getting together with Friends over the holidays..we normally do a happy hour with appetizers and Wine Lot's of wine.. so I think now if I just order club soda with a twist she won't push the matter and i can order a salad and shrimp cocktail not eat the cocktail part... or even sashimi Thank goodness...

Well here's looking a fun day at work did I say Fun! catch ya all later have a great Releana Day!

OMG! Today is not good for me my weight was up another .4. That makes it almost a pound and a half since I've been sick. I definitely ate what I was not supposed to during those 4 days and most of it was toast everyday. So it looks like it's really catching up with me now. I guess I'll just have to stay the course and hope it comes back off soon. I'm sad but I knew this would happen.

Does anyone have a difficult time eating meals, and feel like just skipping them? I love my apples, but some days the thought of eating a meal just gags me, literally. I am trying all kinds of recipes to try to liven things up, but am so not hungry sometimes. If I actually had an appetite or were hungry it would be different, then I think I could eat easier.

Just wondering if anyone else feels this way, and your experience if you skipped meals. It has been about 43 days of vlcd, and I am just starting to have this problem.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

DStiller--Glad to see you are feeling better. I was wondering what would happen if I got sick for a week. Husband is not real good at cooking. The way I have been feeling lately, maybe not eating while sick would be an option!!

Hi all-- I, too, have been sick the past few days, however, mine was completely self-inflicted. I am just 5 pounds away from my ideal weight and decided on Saturday that I was tired of sitting out of social activities, and was willing to risk a slight gain in order to have a few drinks. BIG MISTAKE!! I was SO sick the past 2 days, I couldn't believe it! I definitely do not have the tolerance I used to! Didn't help that I was so busy on Saturday, I only had time to eat an apple and a handful of shrimp all day. I ended up "losing" 2.6 pounds in 2 days, and of course gained 1 back this morning. Anyway, lesson learned! While I lost weight, I have never felt so horrible in my life! Definitely NOT a recommended way to lose weight! ;)

I start P3 on Saturday, and today is my last day of taking the Releana drops. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I really like having a strict diet to follow! I'm planning to start working out as soon as I start P3, since it's what I used to do before this diet. I'm hoping it won't take long to tone-up-- I definitely feel like I've lost muscle! Especially in my legs, where I've always been pretty muscular. I'm definitely interesting to hear how others are doing on P3.

I have my final doctor's appointment this afternoon. I'm interested to hear what they're "maintenance" plan is, as it has yet to be explained to me. I suspect it'll be similar, if not identical, to what I've read on this board.

Deb- I've skipped meals, though I try not to, because I find I'm more hungry the following day. I've actually been pretty hungry throughout this whole process, which I know isn't normal. I have iron-clad willpower, so I've made it work, but I've definitely felt the hunger pains! I have skipped a fruit several times though, and that never seems to make a difference.
