    releasinglbs,
Are you sure you should paint your walls "pasta" That shouldn't be allowed until P4!! hehehehe.

    dgg,
Yes, I am in NYC but my doctor is in Los Angeles. I know....crazy. He set me up with a nutritionist here in the city that is monitoring my progress through the program. I love her!

So tonight was my final night of eating P2 foods. I had an event to go to and had planned on what to order ahead of time, grilled fish with salad greens and lemon on the side. I asked them to make sure there was no oil, butter, etc and they said no problem. Lo and behold about 4 bites in (I knew that fish tasted too good to be true) I noticed the oil glistening off the plate. I am sure I will be fine but damn, I didn't want my one and only cheat on p2 to be olive oil!

Tomorrow is my first day with "real food" I will keep you all posted :-)

    P3 here I come.....................

releasing lbs.- Can you tell me where you get your recipes. I basically just grill my meats and would love to know if there were some variations I could throw into the mix. I always do what's easiest but, maybe changing it up could help.

nyc33 - i actually don't think it's so crazy. Had I not been able to find a nearby doctor, I was going to fly to CA to the medspa associated with the Releana and get it there. They were the ones who gave me the most detailed information about Releana. And the woman I spoke with is a physician's assistant so, until I found a doctor, she was the closest thing (not literally) I could find that made me feel comfortable about it. But, luckily, I found a doctor in Westchester who I like a lot. So, again, i don't think it's crazy at all. You gotta do what you gotta do.

    good morning all,

Wow released 1.2lbs for a grand total 25lbs in 35days finally over that stall...

dgg, I love to cook and experiment so i've just been playing around with the allowable foods to make a quick soup...

    I normally start out with
1 cup of either organic vegeable broth (pacific} or organic Free Range Chicken broth (Imagine} they are both sugar free anf lower in sodium... be sure to read the packages a few others I have found do have some sugars and I'm keeping them for P4

ok so thats the base to that I add
    1 1/2 cups water
then I chop up some vegeys a little onion and tomato some spinach whatever I have around I have used a little brocolli or asparagus also to equal 3.5 ozs
I add a clove of garlic pressed or chopped
and spices I found a product called Spike in the health food aisle of a grocery store and it's a good over all one to use if your unsure of what to mix and match
now here's my new trick I add a capful of apple cider vinager it adds a real zest to the soup then of course a little pepper and salt if needed
need add your protein I slice it in to small pieces or little balls I've even added shrimp or talapia or red snapper if you use the fish add some Italian spices and it almost like choppino or you can add a little more vinager and a little stevia for SWEET AND SOUR with chicken

bring to a boil them simmer for 20 mins this makes a big bowl of soup about 3 cups with all the vegey's and meat

I don't measure much when I cook except for portions allowed at the end I taste a little to see if it's ok then add what i think it needs

everyones taste buds are different i tend to add more pepper

just experiment it's fun and you'll be sharing your recipes soon

for other stuff i've been using Walden Farms products to help spice things up a little most are ok tasting I have not had a problem with them causing a stall I used them pretty much all along my clinic said they were ok but be sure to check with yours...

deb130 Not sure how to do that but since you started it i think you would have to be the one to fix it maybe ask on another thread

everyone have a great day i'll check back later going to call my friend in colo and finishing painting my "pasta: walls

You are a painting machine, Beth!!

Well I had my first p3 meal today. I had an apple for breakfast then went out for brunch. I ordered organic scrambled eggs (I could only eat half) with a side of steamed mixed veggies (broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, and shitake mushrooms), and had 2 bites of my boyfriends smoked salmon. It was so liberating to be able to order something "normal" at a restaurant.

I am full though, very full. It is now 5 hours later and I am still wondering how I will eat dinner. Baby steps, I am just focusing on baby steps.

On this glorious Sunday I also went to the farmers market and stocked up on all kinds of seasonal fruits and veggies, plus some fish and oysters for dinner from the "fish man"

    I love Sundays!!!
