I love the positive feelings on our thread...We all seem to have made life changing decisions about food and our views of food that will help us thru p3 and p4 that will reset our setpoints so we don't have to return to the yo yo life again....

yesterday I was at Costco that's were I met up with my friend I needed some shrimp and she needed gas so we ended up in the refreshment area sitting and catching up.... as I looked around and watched people... I thought about how I was one of them only a short time ago like 6 weeks ago... instead I was sitting and visiting with my friend over a very satsifing bottle of water...Weeks ago I would have been eating a slice or 2 of pizza or a couple hot dogs....what I found was 1. I don't want to go back to eating like that again and 2. We concentrated on our conversation. We sat for 1 1/2 hours just talking no food it was a pleasure.. we paid attention to each other instead of gorging....she had just returned from a trip to Europe and we also talked about how they eat in a more relaxed style without the rushing and they enjoy what they are eating...not mindless hurry up let's go attitude it gives your mind and body time to digest and say hey I've had enough.... One reason I like when I make soup for p2 is that by adding extra water to the broth I can eat more slowly and it lasts longer....

I so look foward to sharing the p3 and p4 experience with all of you....sharing an eating clean way of life

Have a Wonderful Tuesday I'm off this week and I keep forgetting what day it is I have a feeling this week is going to go by faster than I would like LOL never quite get done all my projects..

Beth... I think what you said in the above is MORE valuable than any .4, .6, 1#, 26# you could ever lose. THAT is more powerful than any scale or tape measure.

I had a bad week last week - weight wise - only 1.4lbs lost. So far this week .8lbs lost.

The way I lose is not consistent and until last week, averaged about .5 lbs/day. I have lost quite a lot of inches but, not a huge amount of weight and I don't get it. Has that happened to anybody. I listed stats below....

total loss from start date of 10/20 - 16.5lbs

    1.25" from arms
    4" from mid-drift
7.5" from my waist (I had the most to lose there) I fINALLY got my shape back
    4" from hips
    5.5" from bust
    3" from thighs

Wow dgg your inches lost are great I think some people just release their lbs differently 36 days at 16.5 lbs is .458 lbs average still not horrible I have had a few stalls 3 days I'm not releasing the inches like you are... Did you talk to your Dr. you must have just gotten your 2nd bottle.... also what are you eating / drinking i can't remember if we talked about that... are you doing cottage cheese or the protein shakes oh think I had a stall at about the same time somewhere in the 30 to 35 day mark get back to me and well figure it out... I think your doing good by the way..
    Beth

ps i looked back and are you still using the balsamic vinager i looked tonight when i was at TJ's and it does have a littl e more sugar then apple cider they do have a white balsamic with only 2 gram sugar maybe stopusing it and see what happens and i saw no dairy so that's not the problem.. are you exercising??

Hey... Dgg... 5.5" from your bust... I'm jealous!!!!!!! I thought for sure I'd lose from my chest, but I'm still a DD :(

Does anyone know if it's the same for hcg like exercise, the first place you gain is the last place you lose?

Actually when and if you were to gain after the hcg it would be all over which is why It's important to weigh daily even in Phase 4 someone could gain 10 lbs and their clothes will still fit becauses it's all over instead of one place....

I've also maintained a DD but the measurement around the back under the bust is 3 1/2 ins smaller... I look alot smaller now but my bras fit much better... I hope to go back down to a 34 D My abs seem to be the part holding on the most but I still have 25 to 30 lbs to release so I'm sure it will all re distribute...

dgg- your inch lost is fantastic! it took me 4 mo to lose 7" from my waist! i actually think your stats are a very GOOD sign, and here's why- when you're losing that many inches, you have to be losing primarily fat- there is no other way for you to get smaller, unless you're doing a lot of toning which i assume you're not. (?)

A combination of phenomenal inch loss with less weight loss means that you're not losing much muscle (if any), because muscle weighs more than fat.

Hello everyone!! Sorry I haven't been around much this week. This is a very busy time for me in my business. In fact between now and the end of the year is just very busy so I'll be on when I can!! All is going well, I've had a few days of not feeling very well but I think it's just something going around. My weight loss is kinda stalling right with very small changes each day. But I used to be this weight for awhile so maybe my body is just trying to decide what to do!!!

Everyone is doing great with their losses, keep up the good work!!
