I'm from/in San Francisco... Yes, I'm getting the B-12 shots too, I love them and feel great on this whole diet.

Most women are in that 18-24% range... but for me, I carry my fat in my middle and couldn't lose it, no matter what I tried.... till now.

Right before I started the diet I started dancing twice a week... and haven't gone while I'm on the releana, just cause the class is kinda brutal. :) I didn't want to pass out in class!

My Dr.'s scale it intense, and the nurse said it was super expensive... it prints out each arm, leg, waist, etc. and gives overall info and each body part... if I can't have that cool thing in my house, I'll just stick to my scale :)

thank you for the kind words... Oh, my goal was to lose 20-25 lbs. so far, I'm loving how easy it has been for me (I've learned how to eat right, that's for sure) which is so exciting... and I have the Stevia drops in the diff flavors, so drinking a ton of water is super fun now!! (drinking peppermint now!)

and I have a ton of recipes that I'm gathering for P3/P4... Almond flour, Stevia, etc. I'm SO over sugar!

ome-- like you I have really changed the way I look at food. I am now going to be adopting into my diet healthy alternatives that I would have never thought about before this diet, and this forum. I am looking forward to phase 3 and beyond as I too have been gathering recipes.

Day 48 and down 28 lbs!!

Omegagirl I agree about the scale, I did buy the scale with the ozs but I don't want to get over obsessed with all the other facts... I measure myself once a week on Mondays since that was my first day on the vlcd I gauge my weight release for the week on that day glad you found us again and we always love hearing from our fellow Releana users

deb130 we are at about the same level day 43... 27.4lbs released maybe we will start p3 about the same time I'm gearing for the first of the year.....

I also started a file with the recipes... there are also a few other sites I've found with recipes for almond flour and coconut flour, you just need to make sure they only used those flours for p3 some use a combination which would work in p4 I also want to find out more about quinoa flour and using it in p4 I've seen it in the health food section.... I make quinoa instead of couscous and love it....It has more protein....there is a lot to learn here and I did most of these healthy things before I just wasn't releasing the lbs. It was frustrating and then I'd overindulge to make myself feel better, a terrible cycle....and I was trying to coach others through a weightloss cleanse... I didn't feel very authentic! but my metabolism was shot from all the yo yoing I had done this is the best thing since the invention of the wheel LOL

Have a great Monday everyone! :)

Releasing--I do have about 30 more pounds to lose so will be a while before I am on phase 3. I have some vacations coming up and am going to be taking some breaks. One week in Dec, one week in Jan and one week in Feb. All to various resorts in Mexico. I am meeting with my Doc tomorrow to find out how to deal with this. I have talked to her before about this and she suggested going off hcg one week prior to leaving. During that week stick to hcg diet with the exception of adding one breakfast including a slice of whole grain bread. This is to prepare my body. Then eat carefully on week of vacation. I think she wants me to be able to enjoy my vacations without too much stress about eating. Then go right back to hcg diet when I get home. I know I will gain a little, but should come off again right away when I get back. She said to focus on high protein when I am on vacation. But to be real about it, I know I will want some carbs on vacation. Tequila and chips!!. Not everyone would be willing to take the chance on weight gain, but I am going to chance it and follow her advice. She has several other clients who have successfully done this. I will be reporting back as to how it all turns out. This is my plan---Do the 3 vacations the way she suggests and after 3rd vacation I will have to do one more 3 week final phase 2, go to phase 3, hypothalmus reset, and then hopefully all my weight will be off, and I can celebrate!!

I realise I am dragging out my losses a bit, but for me I have considered all the options, and I am comfortable with this. My vacations are very important to me, and she says by doing it this way I will be surprised at how little I really will eat, because of having done the hcg for so long. I will be much more aware of what I am putting in my mouth.
At least I am going to try the first vacation and go from there. It really will be a learning experience for me.

Will post my results, good or bad. We leave Dec 5th.

dgg - I am not hungry at all on P3. It's strange, I actually have to make a conscious effort to eat.
I am officially a week in now and the scale was above my LDW for the first time this morning, but I am getting my period so I am not worried. I am still well within the safe zone. I am going to focus on protein and vegetables today. The protein bit is the hardest for me. I used to only eat animal protein (including dairy) a few times a week and otherwise would eat beans, whole grains, tofu, etc. So this has been a challenge for me, but the results are wonderful.
I have been supplementing with the jay robb protein powder and that has helped to boost my protein count for the day. I have been keeping track on "my food diary .com" it's like fit day. It has been helpful to see the protein/carbohydrate/calorie count.
The first 3-4 days of p3 I was struggling to get 1000 calories in, I am now getting about 1500-1700 and would like to increase that a little bit more.

deb130 - Hopefully your vacation plan will work out for you. I think you are doing a smart thing, it's hard to stay on the VLCD consistently for so many days. Your doctor is right though, you probably won't want to eat that much while you are away. I would still try to be careful with loading of sugar....maybe bring some stevia with you and have them make you a margarita with fresh lime/lemon and you can add the sweetness??

Hope you all have a great day :-)

Deb130 All I Can Say is Can I Go To????? let's face it life does happen and when you have a opportunity to travel you got to go....enjoy the trips...also those shakes we talked about might be good to pack along mix with bottle water... Most places have shrimp and crab and good vege's and fruit You'll do fine and please have a margarita for me with stevia of course... are these work related trips, are you in the travel industry? how lucky to be able to get away.....I look forward to planning a cruise next spring my first and i'm doing the 5 or 7 day to Mexico

nyc33 good to know your not hungry sounds like you really have a handle on this congrats your doing great I like the JR shakes and look forward to using them... I 'm also going to try using my straight Isagenix whey protein powder also and mix it with my own flavorings unfortunately the regular shake has to many carbs for me... hoping they will change the formula.... You'll beable to enjoy the tofu and beans in just a few weeks added them back slowly....One of my favorites are Red Lentils...

releasing--Just ordered the shakes. Can't wait to try them. Going to get my Docs opinion tomorrow, but sure she will approve of them. I too was thinking of them when traveling. I am not in the travel business. This is just a fluke that we are going 3 times. 1st one got talked into booking several months ago by a couple my hubby works with. Gotta really good deal. Second one is with 7 of my girlfriends to Puerta Vallarta. Been trying to do this for several years. Just finally came together. Then 2 months ago my daughter-in-law found out she was pregant, and we enjoy vacationing with them, so thought we would do a family thing before baby arrives. I actually wish they were spread out a little more, but who am I to complain!! Does mess with the diet though. Don't have any time in between to do phase 3, but will enjoy the break. And I am hoping by the end of March I will be at my goal.

The great thing about this diet is just knowing it's available at any time. If I gain a few pounds there are ways to fix it. I don't need to panic. What a relief I feel. For the first time in my life I feel like I am free of the vicious weight loss battle. I am no longer consumed every day with thoughts of how am I going to lose this weight, and why can't I just stick to a diet. I have spent too many years beating myself up over weight. How liberated I feel!!

How true I no longer look at food as the enemy I've learned to cook for myself again and I'm so enjoying the kudos on how I'm looking todat my hygenist couldn't believe how good I looked and my friend Anne I started this the day after she left for a 6 week trip we just got together for a bottle of water LOL and wow she was so surprised...This is so worth the effort and truly for the first time I'm not worried about maintaining this is truly the cure!

Deb - I am a little curious about what you wrote about not being concerned about gaining weight anymore because, if you do gain, you know you can always use the Releana to lose it. Sure you can lose weight with the Releana but, if you gain and then go back to it, it's just like any other fad diet. As we all know, the point of this protocol is to lose weight, then reset your metabolism, continue to eat well and then never have to do it again. Not to use the Releana as a diet. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant but, that was how I interpreted it so I just wanted to respond.

dgg--I think you may have misunderstood, or I may have not been too clear on my meaning. I was only referring to the breaks that I have to take while in the process of losing my weight. I have some vacations coming up that are going to cause some interruptions in my protocol, and my thought was that if I did stall or even gain a few pounds during those vacations, I am confident that they will easily come off when I get back on protocol. I have no intention of yo yoing once I lose all my weight, go thru phase 3 and 4. I am confident that this is a cure for that!!!! I also have every intention of eating light while on vacation. It seems like in the past vacation was a time to pig out and worry about it when you get home. But I have changed my view of food to the extent that I now have no intention of making food the focal point of vacation. This protocol has made me so much more aware of my priorities, and they are shifting away from food.
