I'm noticing one. This is now day 8 of what seems a never ending visit from Aunt flow, what's going on here?
I am 20 years old, and on birth control (nuvaring) and usually experience a 5 day TOM, which is a regular flow.
I have been on the VLCD for about 15 days now and I can't figure out what's up. I started my period a whole week early,
and now it's pretty heavy and seems like it's never going to leave?

    Anyone else have this problem?

    Help! :(

Do you two know if this is going to be a regular thing or what?
I know some girls get their TOM like a week after ending sometimes

I continued my HCG through out my period, and still continued to lose

    Could this be why?

This happened to me also. I believe it has to do with the hormone and drastic weight loss. More the weight loss than the hormone. I am hoping once I stabilize it will stop. I have the IUD and have been having my period for 3 weeks now. For the most part it is just spotting but some days it is worse than that and some days I have nothing!

Here's my problem. I started the hcg (Inj) 3 days after TOM ended (this was in SEpt) I'm on a 25 day cycle been regular, always. I did not stop the hcg when my TOM started in oct since i started it with only 2 days left of injections. TOM was on time in Oct. Now its' nov and HELLO (or Hell no) is more like it.....8 days late. I am 45yo so maybe its just my time to slow down or stop in this area. ALthough i have not had any other signs of going thru menopause. I have not taken a pregnancy test and my husband was fixed 8yr ago. Anybody else experience loss of TOM while on hcg?

Just wanted to continue this conversation, and hopefully reach more ladies out there.

It has now been a total of 14 days on my period, and I am really starting to wonder when this will go away, I mean a 2 week period?!

Does anyone else have anymore insight on what's going on?

You're not alone. I'm on day 19! Only the past 2 or 3 days have been heavier, more like a real period. The first 4 or 5 days were mostly spotting (which is unusual for me), and it has been intermittent for the most part the rest of the time. I am normally very irregular, and it had been about 3 months since my last period, so I'm thinking my body might be compensating! My periods though, even at 3 months apart, usually only last 5-6 days. Oh, and I'm in my late 20's.

I really just don't understand whats going on, I am on VLCD 21- with a loss of about 17 lbs., I am 20 years old.
I am on birth control and very regular due to that. This 2 week long period not only puts a kink in my well, sex life
But now I am concerned when and IF*** this period from hell ever ends, if the hormones have screwed up my birth control.
I don't want to not be protected you know. I understand it says that the protocol doesn't interfere with birth control methods
But it seems possible that is my cycles off, my body could ovulate or something,

The first few days of my period also was light spotting, followed by a full week of a normal period.
The past five days or so, it has been heavier.

    Any other ladies?
