God IS amazing! :-) I started writing out of tragedy too. I had a younger brother killed in a freak lightning accident just shy of my 40th birthday. I realized if i was every going to follow my dream, I needed to get on it. God has really opened amazing doors for me. It's sure not talent or anything in me!

Wow this thread is amazing! I said it before that I really believe God led me to this group, and now I know it!! I can't believe Grammy is Colleen Coble! I've read alot of your books Grammy. You are a very talented writer, and I'm so glad that you use your God-given talents to give God the glory!! I'm so sorry for everybody's losses, and I'm so glad that you have seen God's love through it all. The Grace of God..which passes ALL understanding!!

Today, I wasn't able to spend much time on this chat site, other than to post my losses so far, and I really felt the difference tonight. I made saskatoon berry crumble (for any of you who have ever tasted saskatoons...you will know what I mean), and I had a spoonful!!! I was trying hard to make myself stop sitting down with a bowl, and I decided to come on the forum, to see if anyone could "talk me down". Thankfully, I no longer want any!

Tomorrow, I'm sure I'll pay for my indiscretion, but I'm so glad it didn't go any further!

I think I would have to disagree on your comments about your talent thing, but when He said "Whom shall I send?" You said, "Here am I, Lord". So much about God is not about aptitude and all about attitude....at least in my humble experience. The fact that all you gals are still standing and not trampled by the circumstances you have all faced is a huge testimony to His strength, and miracles....and to your faith. The supernatural of God is alive and well in your lives,my friends, and I thank you, thank you for sharing. Again, I say, "Rejoice". The joy in my heart at your strength and perserverance is overwhelming. That stupid "ponder smile" is on my face again. Ruminating on His wonders.

I am so proud that there are others out there not afraid to proclaim their stance in God!! People may laugh when you tell them your a christian & some may not even know you are if you don't spend your day like Jesus was physically standing next to you but when I read how many people are not afraid to let others know exactly where they stand it makes me cry. I know all to well the power he holds & I do not question his actions. Colleen God gave you a beautiful gift it just took you a while to listen to him!!! All of you have touched my heart today by reading this thread. I hope that anyone who isn't believer just gets nosy & decideds to read this thread & it changes their life. Sometimes all a person needs is a little more info even if it is from strangers. Who knows who is reading this & is in need of some direction! I hope this thread stays near the top so more people get a chance to read all of this & maybe just maybe we will all have played a small role in changing one life. How awesome would that be? My prayers are with all of you tonight! Maybe we should start a God is good feed kinda like the inspiration feed :o) We all seem to have a unique testimony with one powerful connection!
