I might have to! My daughter and I raised a baby starling that fell out of the nest. We called her (or him,not sure) Mazzy. We eventually turned her loose. I would go out on the porch and call, "Mazzy!" and she would swoop down from the telephone wire and land on my finger. She was too friendly and someone batted her to the ground, I think. It broke her wing. We had the vet wrap it up but she died anyway. Just broke our hearts. Anyway, she is in Without a Trace. :-)

That's why I don't let other people handle my baby squirrels. They get too trusting of everyone and thing when they are released.
My favorite squirrel was Furby. You can see pics of him on my Facebook profile. He was poisoned. Completely devastated me..I cryed for weeks!

Thanks ladies for all the wonderful sharing. I just found this link! I waited for 3 months to see a doctor who specializes in HCG. The night before my appointment in early November I was at my weekly prayer meeting. The Lord was healing a deep wound in my life (one that I had worked through and thought was done). I had an image of me as a thin person, but didn't tell the ladies who were praying with me. When we finished praying one of them said "I feel the Lord has a miraculous way for you to lose weight". I told them I would be seeing this doctors assistant the next day. When I shared it with her, she said "this has been pretty miraculous for people". Well, here I am, near the end of R1P2, down 31# (my lowest weight in 20 years!) Just wanted to share God's faithfulness with all of you as well. And a special thanks to Margie, who shared this forum with me (via my cousin!)

Hello, my sisters in the Lord!!! I am 2 weeks into phase 2 of the hcg protocol and am getting a little discouraged. I am HUNGRY. 10 years ago I had bariatric surgery and lost 100 lbs. and kept it off. However, I knew there were about ten more pounds I had to go and no amount of exercise, calorie restrictions etc. would budge that 150lb. mark. I also had funny little bulges of fat on my hips and my abdomen. Not just loose skin, but fat packets. So, I learned about the HCG diet and was encouraged by my daughter to try it. So, I am. Like others have said, if I had known about the protocol 10 years ago, I would not have had surgery, even though it was very successful for me with few health complications. However, my type of surgery caused a state of malabsorption, particularly of fats. With no fat on this diet, I have lost eleven pounds but still have 8 more days of the VLC portion of the diet. I am using the miracle noodles once a day. Any thoughts or advice on staving off the hunger. I am giving it ti the Lord and I will stick with it until I go through the whole protocol but was wondering if anyone else is post bariatric (duodenal switch) and is doing this. Blessings

    allday, what a great testimony!
celwart-you may need to remix your hcg (I don't know what form you're using). If you have cheated at all with carbs or fake sugars you can become hungry too. Sometimes you will be hungry for a day before a huge loss (Happened to me yesterday). Hang in there! Iam not post bariatric, but maybe there is someone out there..start a topic with that question..

Warning, warning! Hunger is a sign that something is wrong. If you are hungry, you need to talk to us more. What method are you using and dose? How close are you to to your goal?

I just got back from church and saw the WARNING. To answer your questions, I am using the shots and upped it to 40 cc's per the advice of another long term HCGer. I was doing 35cc's. I am at my goal weight right now. I've lost 11 lbs. in two weeks. The only sweetener I use is liquid Stevia and I do not eat the Melba toast. I have not cheated a single bite with carbs or anything else. I am aware of the science behibd this and the necessity for The only other difference I can think of is that I have been on 10mgs. of Prozac forever (PTSD) and I moved it to 10 mgs. every other day with the intention of getting off it once and for all. The Lord healed me of my trauma long ago and I figured that this would be a good time to stop. I approached this prayerfully and with a discussion with my sister, the Doctor, (family practice) and she didn't think it would be a problem. A couple of other factors are that I quit my hormone cream because it is oil based (just for the 3 weeks of the protocol). I will resume once I am in phase 3. I also quit exercising for the phase 2 but will resume at phase 3. That's all I can think of. Anybody have any ideas.

Okay if you're at your goal and have hunger, that's the sign that you aren't losing abnormal fat any longer. I'd up your calories to 800-1000 and stay on the hcg until 23 days then stop. You don't want to regain what you've lost.

Absolutely! And watch your fats until you get to P3. Just eat more P2 food right now.
