Hahahahaa you girls are too funny!

I thought I was the only one that hated p3, I love the freedom too but I find too easy to slip, I am glad for all those that are stabilizing well, I am still 3 lbs over my LDW but I am hoping after TOM it goes back down to no more than my allowed 2 lbs. I think I will be having Calvin between now and thanksgiving, I'm kinda tired of the same old Bessy LOL!

Erecca I'm sorry you get those bad TOMs too, when I was in high school I would vomit and even faint in school so I had to be kept home every month which let EVERYONE know it was my tom LOL! but it's gotten a little better now.

And as for the hockey puck, I don't have even the most minimal desire to have it again! Is it supposed to taste like a 2x4? maybe I overcooked it?...

Annette you're a hero! we don't mind at all if you ignore us for a few days and you are most certainly NOT being rude, you do whatcha gotta do, we'll be here when u return. =)

Hot chick - no I haven't asked yet at the hospital about the scales. Funny my sis-in-law doesn't even have one at her house LOL I'm going to be running home either this afternoon or tomorrow so I am going to bring mine back with me. I had it with me the day we came to the hospital, but when I went home that first night to get things in order, I forgot to put it back in my back :( I actually don't feel like my weight has changed drastically in the past few days...but I guess we will see real soon :)

My sis-in-law actually cooked me chicken last night, so when I got to her house I was eating chicken at 11:30 at night! I packed some for today, plus a hard boiled egg (yes she made those for me too lol she is very supportive) & some water & some yougurt so I am pretty set for today. I stopped by Walgreens on my way up here & bought some magnessium citrate since I haven't gone to the bathroom in almost a week. Funny though I don't feel to bad like I usually do but I am starting to feel a little backed up :/

Michele - poor poor Calvin but I bet Bessey is smiling away thankful it won't be her! But hey TOM is a brat that is for sure. My daughter gets it really bad to.. & about a day or two before she starts everyone in our house couldn't stand to be around her she was so bad LOL I feel sorry for her husband now LOL but she use to miss the first day or two of school every month because she was so cramped up she couldn't even walk. She would sit in warm baths, heating pads....non of the premenstrual stuff worked for her, we even tried birth control & that didn't work. Now that she is older she is still having problems. She gets bad runs & now all of a sudden her cycle has decided to change. They have been trying for over a year to get pregnant, but so far nothing. She was tracking every month but over the last few months her TOM has decided to have a mind of its own so she is having a hard time tracking it. I was like that as well & had a hysterectomoy at 27, my mom had one at 25 so of course my daughter is freaking out because she wants kids so bad! But I feel for all of you because I so remember going through all that :(

Anyway, I am actually going to attempt to do some homework today since one of my professors already dropped me & another one is about ready to :( I woke up at 4 to beat the traffic over the bridge this morning so I only got like 3-1/2 hours of sleep. LOL that should make for some really good answers on all my homework. Sometime today I plan on taking a nap. Elmer wanted me here early to meet with the doctors since it is the beginning of a new week. I just pray that something comes up soon. They have told us that holidays are busy with transplants, I know how horrible that sounds to think like that, I hate that part of this :(

I hope you all have a great day & leave those poor cows alone, bother the turkeys this week!! I will check in later today - Love all you guys :)

    Hi girls!!!

How's everybody this Monday morning??? Hubby and I went out of town for the weekend, so I was unable to check in. We had a wonderful weekend, that was very much needed. I've GOT to tell you about this salmon I had on Friday night! We went to an AMAZING steak restaurant (we love our beef in Nebraska!) and I was thinking about prime rib the whole time, but nervous about the seasoning. When I got the menu I realized they had this new salmon dish on there--Salmon Chloe. It was salmon with shrimp on top, and melted brie cheese. It was the most tender, wonderful fish dish I had ever had! They served it with steamed asparagus and a side salad with a dill ranch dressing. Melted in my mouth! I could've eaten about 3 of them! I was so excited to have a P3 friendly meal!

Saturday we shopped and get this---I bought clothes in the JUNIORS department again!!! It's been YEARS since I've done that! Size 11 pants and medium/large shirts!!! Before HCG I was squeezing into 16's with X-large shirts! Woot woot! Even though I'm doing another round in January I splurged and shopped the clearance racks and got myself 3 new outfits and a new pair of shoes at Von Maur! So excited!!

Then we headed to the game to tailgate and let me tell you, I didn't realize before how little protein I was previously getting in during the day. Hubby and I decided to stop and have an appetizer and drink before meeting up with our friends to tailgate. Every appetizer was either breaded or chips with dip. We then met up with our friends and there were tons of crackers, chips, "bad" dips, etc. I had stopped and bought some cheese, meat and almonds, so that's what I contributed. It's really amazing how differently we think. One of the wives brought hot steamy cheesey potatoes, and being close to P4 I thought I'd try just a little blob of them, and they just didn't "do it" for me like they used to. Before I would've had gone back again and again for more, but I had just a few bites and didn't want anymore.

I got a wonderful compliment while there. My very good friend who was going on and on about how different I look from 2 weeks ago when they saw me. I really hadn't thought my body had changed that much in P3, but we saw them a couple of weeks ago when I was just starting P3. She said she had noticed a big difference then in my weight loss (hadn't seen me since before HCG), but she said now 2 weeks later it's an even bigger shock than seeing the initial weight loss! It made me feel so good!! I'm anxious to take my measurements again now that I'm at the end of P3 and see what has changed in these 3 weeks.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!!! Missed ya!!

Metz - YAY I'm so glad you had such a good time! sounds like the food was fab & so was the shopping! I am trying to hold off on buying anything, but I know I am going to have to soon. I already couldn't wear my 18's anymore, then I had packed a pair of 16's that I KNEW were tight on me & I hadn't worn them in awhile because of that, but when I put them on yesterday they were to big!!!!!!!! I was so excited :o) I'm going home for a couple of hours either today or tomorrow to switch out my clothes & check on the house & I am going to have to scrounge around to find something to fit me :o) For once I'm excited I have to look for clothes fit - usually its because they are to small :o)

I'm finishing up my prereqs for nursing right now that is why I am in school.

Bad TOM! I had the paramedics called out for me one time because I didn't take Midol in time. I was huddled in a mass in the ladies room floor of the Jr. College. They showed up and in my painful grimace just laughed and told them the problem. They laughted too. They wheeled me to a freezing cold clinic. And we know how much THAT helped. Hee. I was wheeled to the clinic more times than I care to remember in HS.

I found out one time that my body actually goes into shock at that time if I don't take action. I had slammed my hand in the drive thru of BK when I worked it. Same reaction in my bod! I finally had to take some giant purple elephant pills when symptoms started or I turned ash gray and couldn't move. Even having kids didn't cure it. I'm on Mirena now and don't have any symptoms at all....not even TOM.

I just saw one of my good friends after about a month. She said...."Lisa, where's your butt?" I had no clever reply. I can't usually think fast on my feet.

Metz, sounds like you had a great time that was made even better by sticking to P3 and seeing how crazy everyone eats! It's no wonder we are the unhealthiest nation in the world. I have read so many times on this forum how people actually look like they are losing more on P3 than P2, and that's when you get noticed more. That's just so fascinating to me.

Annette, honestly i don't know how you do it all. Studying on top of everything else? I'm praying for Elmer and praying for you to get enough sleep!

Oh Annette your daughter's toms sound just like mine, I used to get bad runs too! I thought it was unusual to get diarrhea and a fever because of your period but I learned to live with it, It was very hard for me to get preggo because my period is nuts just like hers, it would come every 3 to 6 months, but here's is what helped me get preggo: when I finally got my period I went on birth control right away for 3 months and then stopped, I got preggo right away!! tell her stressing it will delay it too. When sex becomes a chore so you can procreate it's like your ovaries know it and they won't let go of the egg LOl!! so it's important to actually relax and enjoy it, trust me, I was like a robot harassing my hubby to perform at all hours and that didn't work LOL!

Lis, when someone asks you where any of your body parts are tell them you donated it back to the donut shop where you got it LOL! and about the Mirena, my Doc would not put me on it because he says I am first time mom and I'm not a good candidate, I didn't know I had to be a mother of 7 to qualify for it. I really could use more civilized and peaceful TOMs, maybe I should go see another doc.
