except I have wondered this as well. It makes sense to me to count the weight on the last day that you had a full dose (the drops 3x) instead of the day when you only took the morning dose. This is a difference of 1.5 lb to me so it has had impact on my steak days, etc. Now, I'm not talking about when to start eating P3 foods. Of course that would have to be the 3 days since you took ANY drops to be sure that it is out of your system...
deb- not sure of what you're saying here- ?? Those two morning weights should not be that different, especially late in your round. are you thinking you'd weigh that much less the next morning?
i think we also need to use common sense in terms of the liw, 2# and steak days. he had to pick a figure, and he chose 2#. but basically he's saying that he just doesn't want your weight gain to get out of hand before doing something to correct it. if my weight is up a bit, i don't wait for it to be at the point of needing a steak day. i watch what i eat that day and increase my protein a bit.
well, what I mean is that on my last day that I took all 3 doses, my wt was 142.6. On the next morning, I weighed 141.2. That day, I only took my morning drops and that was it. I counted out 3 days after my very last drops to eat. But my body seems to want to stay close to the 142.6. That makes sense to me because that was the last day that I had a full dose of the drops. I know that its not usually this drastic of a difference.Just happened that way for me and its driving me crazy!
On the morning of the last drops (before the drops) I was 161.2 and today -- on the last day of my VLCD -- I am 159.9. Can I really join the 150s Club now????? Woo hoo!!! Yes, I know my weight will fluctuate during P3 but that '5' sure looked good this morning :)
you will likely find stablilty closer to the 161.2 I wanted to see the 130's so bad..but I guess I will have to wait for January..But congratulations on getting to the 150s!! (by the way, I am SHORT--5'1" so my eventual goal is 115 or so).
deb, I'm not much taller at 5'4". My goal is 135, stretch goal 130 and dream goal 125 :))) I'm doing a long round in January and really hoping to see at least the top of the 130s at the end of 40 days. My birthday is in late February so it would be such a wonderful gift to myself!
