    r2P2D6. Great news i lost 4lbs wow :) but that probably means i wont lose for the next 3 days but hay thats OK. That means i have lost 8lbs so far including what i gained so I am a happy bunny.

    Hi- I also started P2 in November- I'm on vld12 and am getting really discouraged- I am having serously bad muscle cramps, I am drinking at least 2 to 4 liters of water a day, taking natural calm twice a day for the magesium, My weigh loss hasn't been great and I haven't cheated at all. I lost 11.7 lbs the first week, but the second week only 2 lbs. I did the apple day two days ago and have only netted 1 lb. with that and since. I'm wondering if a few things might be affecting me:

    1. Eating alot of shell fish
    2. I am using creams and lotion on face as I work in the cosmetic industry but they are all organic and my dr thought it would be okay.

    Here is my basic day of food-
    am-
    1/2 fruit- usually grapfruit

    2 hours later usually a hard boiled egg

    lunch- usually 2.5 oz meat with a cup of salad greens

    2 hours later- 1/2 fruit

    Dinner- 3 oz meat
    with 1 cup veggie-

    alot of times I skip the second fruit as it gets too late.

    Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks to all.

    I ate both shrimp and halibut during P2 and it didn't affect me, but you may respond to it differently. I posted in the other thread (so did a couple other people) about the face cream. Dr. Simeons specifically wrote about cosmetics and even the oil used during a massage, as potential problems on the protocol. I'd leave everything else the same and cut out the face cream and see if that makes a difference, before I'd start changing the diet around.

    SMinSoCal-Thanks for the advice, I did see the other's as well and will implement today. I'm glad I found this forum it really helps to be able to talk to other people

    2.4# down today after a 5 day stall because of TOM. The loss really helps me with the temptation I am feeling with cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for my family. WooHoo

    My friend gained 1/2 pound from having a massage and her friend had major problems with not loosing at all until she started wearing gloves while washing greasy dishes. Once she put the gloves on she started loosing like crazy. Organic doesn't equal oil free.

    I would also cut out the egg, lots of fat in the yolk. Dr S said egg only occasionally. You maybe should up your protein to the required 3.5 oz (raw).

    Hey ladies,

    I on R1VLCD13 I'm down 9.8lbs. TOM has been coming off and on. I'm guessing that is the reason for the slow lose

    r2P2d7 down another 2lbs wow very happy didn't think that would happen after losing 4 lbs yesterday, sure i will be stalling soon. total 10lbs so far very very happy.
    This round my tummy is rumbling so much more but its not hungry just that empty feeling which i can cope with.
    well done to all who lose today.

    R2P2D19vlcd 16.2 net and 19.2 from load .... down 2.0 today so glad I didn't cheat yesterday! I guess I'm making up from TOM slow down/gain

    I am so sick of the food! Maybe I am the only one but most of the recipes I have tried aren't working for me. If it were up to me all I would eat is steak and an apple at both meals....Maybe shrimp occasionally. I have been completely turned off to food lately.
    Is it horrible to eat red meat that much? I am over chicken! I need a break. I made fish the other day and it wasn't as good as I hoped. I am starting to feel hungry and I checked my hcg today with a preg test and it's fine. I swear every day I go back and forth on doing 30 or 40 days. Why am I still craving?!?!?!
    I thought Thanksgiving would be hard...today has been worse!
    Sorry to be a downer but I am just sick of the short list of things we are allowed to eat on p2
